Wendy Williams was spotted leaving a "wellness center" in Miami, Florida amid rumors her talk show might be canceled...indefinitely.
A video surfaced on social media showing 'The Wendy Williams Show' host being escorted out of a facility in Miami, surrounded by her team and family. According to reports, the television star was receiving some sort of treatment inside the facility and was photographed exiting the premises.
In the footage, Williams is asked if she is "sad" about her talk show being "canceled" -- but, she ignored the question. It should be noted, the show itself has NOT been officially canceled and has continued on with fill-in hosts and guests while Wendy receives medical treatment. The talk show host is seen leaving the facility barefoot, wearing a bright red Versace robe, and entering a waiting black SUV.

The good news, Wendy responds to the photographer about what we can expect from the star once she is healthy and healed -- saying "lots more Wendy stuff." In the video, Wendy looks to be in good spirits and sends a message to her fans that she is "doing fabulous." The talk show host's son, Kevin, is seen helping his mother in and out of the SUV.
The footage comes on the heels of reports that show producers are not planning on having Wendy return to the show, and are looking for a permanent replacement to take over. Interestingly, network executives are claiming they aren't having an issue with her being gone, and actually are enjoying an increase in the ratings with fill-in hosts and since she took a leave of absence. Unfortunately, Wendy has been plagued with rumors that she is "confined to a wheelchair and showing early signs of dementia," says Shade Room -- something her brother claims is untrue. Obviously, the video proves Williams is walking on her own, although with a bit of help from others.
'The Wendy Williams Show' Gets A Lift In The Rating Following Her Departure
"No one expected ratings to go up 32% without Wendy. The fill-in hosts were just supposed to keep the show's lights on until Wendy was well enough to return. It was assumed that without Wendy, the audience would not watch, but the has not been the case," a source told RadarOnline.
According to reports, fans of the Wendy Williams show are pushing for Sherri Shepard or Leah Remini to become the permanent hosts of the program. "Let me know when Sherri’s back," a person wrote on IG. Another added, "Just canceled all my recordings of this show!!! Until you bring Sherri back or our love Wendy is on … I'm not watching!"
Wendy Williams Claims She Is 'Doing Fabulous' After Leaving Facility
Wendy Williams has officially been absent from her famous purple chair since the show's season 13 premiere in September. The talk show host cited "ongoing health issues" for the absence -- but was reportedly rushed to a hospital in NYC for "psychiatric services." The 57-year-old star battled a breakthrough case of COVID-19 and is continually dealing with complications from Graves' disease.
It's unclear if the TV host is headed back to NYC, or what the "Wendy stuff" she has in store for fans.
Get well soon!
