Back in the winter of 2019, Miranda Lambert and Brendan McLoughlin’s surprise wedding shocked the entertainment world, and the pair’s bond has seemingly only been growing stronger since that moment.
Now, after a few months of quarantining together, a new source is claiming that the couple is seriously considering reworking the timeline for when they want kids, with the situation fostering the mentality in them both to try for their first child much sooner than when originally speculated to do so.
Lambert’s quick whirlwind romance with the NYPD officer came quite literally on the heels of both of their previous relationships. Lambert had famously just broken up with country star Blake Shelton when she met McLoughlin during a ‘Good Morning America’ appearance in November of 2018. At the time, McLoughlin’s son with a previous girlfriend was born just three days after he met Lambert, which clearly didn’t put much of a damper on their relationship, with the pair dating officially for three months before tying the knot.
Now, a source for Life and Style is opening up about the singer’s mentality, sharing that, “She’s loving her new Airstream and traveling around the country with Brendan. They’re sightseeing, making stops, cooking, sleeping under the stars — it’s been heaven. They’ve even had long conversations about starting a family together. It’s something they both want but agreed to wait a little while. Now, having all this time together with no interruptions, and with the current state of the world, they’re rethinking the timing of everything. A family might come sooner than they originally planned.”
It seems like things are working out well for the still fairly-new couple, traveling in their airstream dubbed ‘The Sheriff’ and experiencing a variety of different things across America while doing so.
Per the source, Lambert has been, “writing new music and evaluating her life, which always gets her creative juices flowing,” proving that the time spent with her new husband exploring has been quite the positive experience for the award-winning musician, especially when potentially weighing a massive decision such as having a baby.
“Their time together in quarantine has been a very positive bonding experience. Normally she’s on tour and the downtime she would get with Brendan was usually clouded by the business of being on the road. It wasn’t good. Now, it’s just the two of them with no distractions,” the source continued to detail about the positives that the couple has derived from being confined with one another for quite some time. Neither Lambert or McLoughlin have confirmed the speculation, but these hints seem to show the couple is in very good standing right now.
