Tamra Judge has been teasing fans of a potential new reality show with her former “Real Housewives of Orange County” co-star, Vicki Gunvalson, for the past several months but according to a recent podcast appearance, the mother of four has more than just one new series in the works.
While chatting with host David Yontef on his podcast, “Behind the Velvet Rope”, Tamra, who quit the Bravo reality series after being offered only a limited role on season 15, revealed what she’s currently working on.
After first admitting that she doesn’t know if she would entertain an offer to return to “The Real Housewives of Orange County” for a future season, Tamra said that she and Vicki are in talks to appear on their own show.
“Vicki and I in talks for a show and me and Eddie [are in talks] for another one,” Tamra confirmed.
While Tamra and Vicki were first seen filming together in February, just weeks after they both announced they would be leaving the “Real Housewives of Orange County” cast after season 14, Tamra said she remains under contract with Bravo through this month.
“Bravo has a hold on me [until] June. We thought we could film during this time and we would air [in] June [or]July,” Tamra explained.
However, after starting production earlier this year, Tamra was unable to continue filming her new show due to the quarantine restrictions in Southern California.
“Whatever is gonna happen is gonna happen,” she continued. “If I never go back on TV I’m okay. I have CUT fitness and Vena CBT. I’ve never been one who wants to be on TV. It was just something that fell into my lap.”
“Eddie always says, ‘Why don’t I leave the show,’ and I’m like, ‘You don’t just leave the show and say I’m gonna be the next Kelly Ripa.’ It doesn’t work like that. I don’t have an agent. I just fell into it. To me it was gift,” Tamra shared.
While nothing is certain when it comes to her TV future, Tamra said that she knew it was time for her to leave Bravo.
“It’s time for the next chapter of my life,” she explained.
While Tamra and Vicki won’t be featured on the upcoming 15th season of “The Real Housewives of Orange County”, their former on-screen nemesis, Kelly Dodd, will be seen on the new episodes, unless Tamra is successful in her attempts at having her fired.
As fans may have seen, Tamra called for Kelly to be axed by Bravo earlier this month on her Instagram Stories after a fan reminded her of Kelly’s 2016 interview with TMZ, in which she proclaimed she would never date a Black man.
