"Alaskan Bush People" star Bear Brown may not have met his newborn son yet, but the little tyke is still sending his papa warm wishes on Father's Day while they are still hundreds of miles apart. Bear and the mother of his child, Raiven Adams, had a tumultuous relationship followed by a bad breakup and even legal litigation, but it appears they are trying to be amicable these days, especially when it comes to their son, River, who was born back in March.

Baby River was born premature and spent some time in an Alaskan hospital with Raiven before he was strong enough to come home. During that time, Bear remained in Washington during the COVID-19 pandemic and was not able to meet his son. To top it off, Bear and Raiven were battling over custody and a restraining order at the time, and to this day the Discovery reality star has still not been able to meet or hold his newborn son.

Even though things were bad between the two, it appears Raiven and Bear are trying to be civil and she event sent a sweet message to her ex on Father's Day.

"Happy Father’s Day! Hopefully by next year you’ve met, and can have a fun day together," Raiven posted on Instagram while tagging Bear and sharing some photos of their son.

She added, "Until then enjoy these cute smiley photos dad. Lord knows we didn’t do everything right but we made a pretty cute kid."

Bear is trying to be as involved as he can be while living in a different state and Raiven showed off a toy he recently sent the newborn.

"The toy daddy sent me is a wee big ? but it’s fun to look at," Raiven wrote alongside a photo of River and a big baby toy.

Hopefully Bear will be able to meet his son in the near future, as the reality star has been excited about becoming a father. He recently celebrated his 33rd birthday and reflected on some of the trials and tribulations he's overcome in life.

"I was born on a rainy day in Alaska and when I was a kid I could never have guessed in my wildest dreams, where I’d be today and how much my life would change, for the better and worse, along the way I’ve left the world I knew, battled cancer with my mother seizures with my dad, made some good friends, lost some good friends, fell in love and have seen my family, my Wolfpack grow even larger, a lot has happened theses past few years! Both with myself and the world, thank you everybody, for all your support!"
