Chelsea Houska didn’t go diet with her Coca-Cola as she posed for a stunning photo on Wednesday. The “Teen Mom 2” star who made major headlines for losing just under 5,000 followers in a Black Lives Matter “privilege” storm recently received zero complaints today as a photo of her was posted to the Lauribelles Instagram account – the clothing brand is one that Chelsea both influences for and has full-blown collabs with. The 28-year-old’s gig with Lauribelles appears more successful than ever – comments now see fans disappointed that the cute clothing is “sold out.”
Scroll for the photo, although the above one also included a beverage as Chelsea reminded her 5.7 million followers that a piña colada shake from the Profile Sanford weight-loss brand she fronts is a solid favorite. The shot showed the mom to Aubree, Watson, and Layne seated on a chic terrace by a harbor with boats and smiling as she held a bottle of classic Coca-Cola while rocking tiny shorts, the Rising Star Distressed Sweater, plus a pair of Lauribelles’ Iconic Round Sunglasses. “Oh my STARS this top is cute than cute!” the caption read.
It’s been just over two weeks since Chelsea faced a massive wave of backlash for posting a promo photo showing her gold blazer and – at the time – staying silent over the murder of 46-year-old black man George Floyd. As The Blast reported, Chelsea was deemed tone-deaf for posting a cute shorts photo over mentions of Black Lives Matter – “Disappointed and unfollowed,” one fan wrote, with a hugely popular comment telling the redhead: “Your privilege is showing.” That same weekend, Chelsea wrote: “My heart is absolutely broken for George Floyd and his family. We need to do better.” More below.
Chelsea’s 5.7 million Instagram followers make her the most-followed “Teen Mom” cast member – by far. Next down is fellow cast member Kailyn Lowry, with 3.8 million followers. Houska – who is currently shaping up a new farmhouse-style mansion with 2016-married husband Cole DeBoer – is also juggling her on-screen career with a ton of side gigs. Alongside her clothing collabs, Chelsea had Itzy Ritzy and DIFF eyewear collaborations in 2019. She’s also the celebrity face of slimming brand Profile Sanford. The kids also feature in the promos, below.
May 28 brought Chelsea to Instagram in promo mode for Profile Sanford. The stunner was seen holding youngest daughter Layne and rocking a grunge GUNS ‘N ROSES tee as she wrote: “Stocked up on my Profile goodies and I’m obsessed with this new Profile Mom Nurture Shake! For the new mommies out there – it’s loaded with prenatal vitamins for before/during/after pregnancy. Link in bio. ???” Weight-loss promos for “Teen Mom” faces can get ugly, though. Leah Messer has been unfollowed over hers. “Teen Mom OG” face Mackenzie McKee was also recently slammed over her BoomBod promos.
