Alexandra Cooper straight-up admitted it would have been “f-cked up” of her “not to share” her Tuesday photo. The 26-year-old podcast host whose “Call Her Daddy” audience has shot up from 12,000 to an estimated 2 million updated her Instagram yesterday with a reminder that she can make just about anything witty. Cooper – who fronted media outlets with a complex pay scandal last month – has been hosting the Barstool Sports podcast from her parents’ basement amid the global pandemic. Her 1.3 million followers just got eyes on what she eats.
Scroll for the photo, although the above one is a perfect example of Alexandra including food on her Instagram – she recently snacked on cheddar cheese pretzels in a bikini top from her backyard, jokingly writing that the neighbors were “watching.” Tuesday’s post showed a mouth-watering bowl of spaghetti with Cooper’s fork appearing to scoop the pasta dish up. A caption read: “I felt like it would be f-cked up of me to not share this nude l with you guys.”
Alexandra – whose pay scandal included former co-host Sofia Franklyn, plus 43-year-old Barstool Sports boss Dave Portnoy slamming the girls for allegedly demanding a $1 million salary – found herself with a nice batch of responses. “Not the type of nude I was expecting but I’ll take it,” one fan wrote. “My nudes will never be this good smh,” another added, with a third writing: “The kind of content we didn’t ask for, but the contented we needed ? thank you daddy love you always!” More photos of Alexandra below.
April 8 brought an abrupt silence from the popular and sex-based podcast as “Kesha…The End” was published with seemingly no follow-up – since broken – also launching the high-profile storm seeing Alexandra publicly open up as the internet talked host pay. Per The New York Post, Alexandra’s 38-year-old HBO Sports executive president boyfriend, Peter Nelson, had been allegedly encouraging the girls to seek better deals elsewhere – “They were offered a deal with podcast network Wondery. He was quietly shopping them even though they were still under contract with Barstool,” a source told the media outlet.
Alexandra’s candid and lengthy YouTube videos have been documenting the storm, with the 2018-commenced podcast getting even more press in May as Cooper addressed the situation – specifically, Sofia taking to her IG stories and saying that Alex was treating her like an “employee.” “I feel betrayed,” she said, saying that Alex had “gone behind my back.” The public contract negotiation then saw Alex state that “we had to move forward without her.” Podcast earnings for Cooper are reported to be $75,000 plus bonuses.
