Ben Affleck has been making headlines recently for his whirlwind romance with Ana de Armas, who appeared in the movie “Knives Out.”
The two met while filming, “Deep Waters” in 2019. But they didn’t go public with their romance until 2020.
Since then, their relationship has become “very serious.” The actress was even photographed spending quality time with Affleck’s children and mother.
Who else has the “Batman” actor been linked to over the years? Here’s a look inside Affleck’s high-profile dating history.
Affleck started dating Gwyneth Paltrow in 1997, shortly after her relationship with Brad Pitt ended.
The two went on to star in the 1998 movie, “Shakespeare in Love,” and the 2000 movie, “Bounce.” The pair broke up in 2000.
“I just think we have a very different sort of value system,” Paltrow said about Affleck in 2003. ”Ben makes life tough for himself. He’s got a lot of complications, and you know, he really is a great guy. So I hope he sorts himself out.”
Lopez and Affleck were first linked in 2002 after they met on the set of the movie, “Gigli.” They dated until 2004 and were even engaged before splitting up.
In 2020, Affleck revealed he’s still on good terms with his ex.
“I keep in touch periodically with her and have a lot of respect for her. How awesome is it that she had her biggest hit movie at 50? That’s f***ing baller,” he told The New York Times referencing Lopez’s movie, “Hustlers.”
Shortly after Affleck called off his engagement to Lopez, he went public with Jennifer Garner.
The two got engaged and married in 2005. That same year, they gave birth to their first child. In 2009, their second daughter was born. In 2012, they had a son.
In 2015, the couple announced their separation. Two years later, the exes filed for divorce.
That same year, Affleck began a relationship with “Saturday Night Live” producer, Lindsay Shookus. The two dated on and off between 2017-2019.
Sexton, a Playboy model, was linked to the actor in 2018 (while he was on a break with Shookus).
The two didn’t last longer than a couple of months. According to a source, the relationship wasn’t serious, to begin with.
“There was nothing to split from as it has been casual,” a friend of Affleck’s told People.
The source added, “He enjoyed being with her but is working on himself, and being together with her at this time is not something that works. He will date in the future, but for now, his focus is on his sobriety, family, and his next project.”
