Yung Miami is one half of the group, City Girls, who are still one of the most popular groups in hip-hop today. The group has been fairly quiet lately though as Miami seems to be focusing on motherhood more. She sadly broke some news on her Instagram handle though as she revealed that the father of her son, six-year-old son Jai Wiggins, recently died. Has Jai Wiggins Sr. Miami posted a photo of the two together and praised Jai as a father.

The Blast first reported that Jai initially died as a result of being involved in a shooting this paast weekend. JT and others on social media also took to Twitter to offer Miami prayers and condolences.

"Caresha don’t deserve this shit, my baby haven’t really caught a break in years always being forced to be strong ....," said JT on Twitter. "God send her a miracle her heart so broken & mine is too."

JT also commented under Miami's IG post with a powerful message of encouragement and how close the two have been over the last five years.

“If people on the Internet only knew your heart & how you always there for everybody how you been strong for your family 5 years straight, how you was strong for me!"

"Everything that happens to you is always unfair but you somehow always find a way to make it look easy just how he didn’t deserve that YOU didn’t I can’t fcking believe this sht!!!!!!" continued JT passionately. "I wish there was something I could do if only I can walk in your shoes a day to give you a break baby, but just know I’m forever walking with you!!”

JT spent over a year in prison due to credit card fraud charges. She was released in October of 2019 and was released from her halfway house in March.

Yung Miami and JT took off with their fame in May of 2018 when they released their 'Period' mixtape. They then released their debut album,' Girl Code,' in November of that year.

Miami's relationship with Jai was an up and down one though. He almost went to jail in 2019 after violating an order of protection that Miami had. He was required to complete a domestic violence battery course, intervention program, and parenting classes. in 2015, Miami filed for a temporary restraining order against Jai over a reported domestic violence incident. She also has a daughter names Summer Miami with superstar producer, Southside.
