Former “Empire” star Jussie Smollett is finally going to trial.
In 2019, he alleged that he was the victim of a racist and homophobic attack.
He filed a report with the police, who investigated the incident.
Two brothers confessed Smollett paid them to stage the attack.
Smollett has been indicted on six counts for filing a false police report.
Although he has pled not guilty, some believe the evidence against him is too much to ignore.
One said, “He caused so much divide in the country when he did this he must be held accountable.”
The jury shouldn't deliberate longer than a ten-minute coffee break,” said another.
Another said that Smollett should “stop lying” and “take your punishment like a real man.”
