Kristen Doute is said to be completely devastated by her recent firing from “Vanderpump Rules.”
According to a June 12 report from Hollywood Life, Kristen was not expecting to be fired from the show after being accused of discrimination by Faith Stowers, especially after she offered what she believed to be a “genuine apology” to her former co-star.
Just under a week after Bravo made Kristen’s exit from the show official, an insider is speaking out about how she is holding up.
“Kristen was incredibly distraught over the entire Vanderpump Rules firing situation and she still is,” the source said over the weekend.
“Kristen reached out to Faith directly with a genuine apology and she feels upset to hear Faith saying otherwise,” the source continued.
As fans may have heard, Fatih has said on a number of instances that she didn’t feel that Kristen was being sincere when she apologized, mainly due to the fact that she shared her statement publicly before reaching out to Faith privately.
According to Kristen, she kept her private apology, which came after her public statement on Instagram, to herself because she wanted it to be taken seriously by her former “Vanderpump Rules” cast mate.
“She didn’t advertise it because she wanted the apology to be taken seriously. Kristen feels sad to watch Faith do this. She feels she continues to come after her,” the insider continued.
Now, as Faith remains in the headlines for her many statements about the cast, Kristen feels as if she’s lost “everything she worked for.”
On Tuesday, days after Faith revealed that Kristen and Stassi attempted to have her arrested for crimes she didn’t actually commit, including drugging men and credit card theft, Bravo officially confirmed that they would not be asked to return to “Vanderpump Rules” for the reality series’ upcoming ninth season.
“Bravo and Evolution Media confirmed today that Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni will not be returning to Vanderpump Rules,” the network said in a statement to Hollywood Life.
While Kristen has been axed from the series, she will be seen one final time on Tuesday as she and her “Vanderpump Rules” co-stars appear in the third installment of their three-part reunion special, which begins on Tuesday, June 16, at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
As for the ninth season of “Vanderpump Rules,” it has not yet been revealed when the returning members of the cast, including Scheana Marie, Jax Taylor, and Lala Kent, will reunite for the start of production on the show’s upcoming episodes.
