Thylane Blondeau didn’t even need proper clothes to knock the camera dead ahead of the weekend. The “World’s Most Beautiful Girl” whose head-turning looks were first spotted at the age of four has – for someone so private – been opening up a little more via her videos, and they get reposted to fan accounts. Thylane, who turned 19 from her Paris lock-down in early April, appears back to a semi-normal life via Starbucks trips and photoshoots. The latest video showed the Aix-en-Provence native prepping for one.
Thylane has already made headlines amid the pandemic for rapping to Drake‘s “Chicago Freestyle.” A video circulating this weekend then showed Cosmopolitan’s 2019 Model of the Year jamming out to Kanye West. Away from music and into fashion – although not showing much of it – was the Friday video seen below. It showed Thylane peeling down a white bathrobe to reveal a skimpy, foam-green tank top as the model was surrounded by shoot crew – the brunette had her dark hair slightly wet as she sat at a table with a cookie mat, also filming herself speaking in French – her English, also perfect, eventually manifested.
If you watched the video all the way through, you’ll have heard Thylane saying: “J’aime pas mon sourir.” The French directly translates into “I don’t like my smile.” The modest vibe is one that Thylane is known for, having stated in interviews that she’s “embarrassed” by everything she does. The Cacharel fragrance face has also – on multiple occasions – refused to acknowledge her “Most Beautiful” status. Keep scrolling for what the mysterious beauty has to say about herself, plus that video of her rapping to Drake from her bed.
Thylane’s modeling resume now includes walking for designers including Dolce & Gabbana and Chanel. Speaking to L’Officiel, the star shut down the concept of her famous moniker. “Firstly: I do not consider myself the most beautiful girl in the world! When I was little, people always told me,” she said, adding: “But I did not even understand what they meant. Because who says that? Who says I am the most beautiful?” Scroll for Thylane’s childhood photo, plus the Drake rap.
Thylane now comes with a small celebrity following. Her Instagram is kept tabs on by both “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Lisa Rinna and 22-year-old “Shake It Up” actress Bella Thorne. Likewise following Blondeau is “Call Her Daddy” podcast host Alexandra Cooper. Thylane herself has a nickname for her army of followers – she calls them “Thylaners.” Things are low-key on Blondeau’s Instagram, though. You’re more likely to see Thylane napping and surrounded by soft toys or enjoying an airport Starbucks than designer bragging or anything too racy.
