Vanessa Bryant, most well known as the widowed wife to the late Kobe Bryant, hasn’t been super active lately (on account of her social media being private) but her kids on the other hand have started to appear more frequently on TikTok.

The latest video has fans raving about how adorable Vanessa’s 3-year-old daughter Bianka is. The video has her 17-year-old daughter Natalia and WNBA rookie Sabrina Ionescu showing off a dance routine to a bopping song. The video ends just after Bianka suddenly pops up from the bottom of the frame.

In a released statement Vanessa made 10 days after the tragic helicopter accident, she had the following to say to fans and friends:

“My girls and I want to thank the millions of people who’ve shown support and love during this horrific time. Thank you for all the prayers. We definitely need them,” she captioned the post. “We are completely devastated by the sudden loss of my adoring husband, Kobe — the amazing father of our children; and my beautiful, sweet Gianna — a loving, thoughtful, and wonderful daughter, and amazing sister to Natalia, Bianka, and Capri.”

She has gone on to share how devastated she and her family were at the sudden loss of her husband. In addition, a source came forward reporting that she was taking the news very hard. It was affecting her badly:

“She’s very tired; she hasn’t been sleeping. She’s worried about her girls, worried about what happens next.”

The source also mentioned that the loss was surreal for their family and that adjusting to their new family status had already taken a toll.

The latest events over the last two weeks in regard to racial activism and this year’s global pandemic have made this one of the scariest times to be alive. Much uncertainty and emotions continue to move people to change the world around them, but not everyone is dealing with the same grief.

Seeing the Bryant family posting such happy videos is encouraging for viewers who see loss as an insurmountable force that essentially means the end of happiness. But as social groups and major influencers will tell you, “we’re all in this together”. No one is alone.
