Brittany Cartwright's best friend, Zack Wickham, is speaking out in defense of Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute, both of whom were fired from their full-time positions on "Vanderpump Rules" on Tuesday.

In a lengthy statement on Instagram, which was shared by Us Weekly magazine on June 12, Zack defended the women against the racism scandal they are facing before taking aim at Billie Lee for her recent claims against Brittany's husband, Jax Taylor, who many fans believe should be fired as well.

Earlier this month, prior to Stassi and Kristen getting fired, Faith revealed that the two women had called the cops on her in an attempt to have her arrested for crimes of drugging men and car theft, even though Faith, who was the only African American cast member on "Vanderpump Rules" at the time, didn't actually commit the crimes.

Speaking of the incident, Zack suggested that Stassi and Kristen actually had a right to contact police about Faith and her supposed illegal behavior.

After noting that the implications of calling the police on people of color is an issue that the country is finally addressing as a problem, Zack said Stassi and Kristen had "facts from an outside source."

"They didn’t call just to frame her due to the color of her skin," he explained.

Zack then said that Kristen is “one of the most generous and kind humans” and said she opted out of her book tour “because she truly believes” in the Black Lives Matter movement and didn’t “want to pull focus” away from the cause.

Following their drama with Faith and their firing from "Vanderpump Rules," Stassi and Kristen released a statement.

“Stassi and Kristen acknowledged what they did was wrong, have apologized and been punished,” their new rep, Steve Honig, told Us Weekly in a statement. “Without casting aside their actions or the impact of those actions, they want to move forward as part of the solution in ways that are productive, meaningful and sincere. Both of them recognize actions speak louder than words and that is what will guide them as they move forward.”

As for his thoughts on Billie's claims that Jax refused to film with her because she's transgender, Zack said Billie didn’t add much to the show.

"So she ultimately resorted to trying to stir up drama by insinuating that the cast is transphobic, which again is not even remotely true,” he said.

The three-part reunion special for "Vanderpump Rules", which was filmed virtually from the cast's homes in May, will conclude next Tuesday night, June 16, at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
