Chrissy Teigen is officially out of surgery after having had her breast implants removed. The 34-year-old cookbook author and wife to John Legend had built up the buzz to her surgery throughout May by getting transparent over having had the implants inserted in the first place – a topless photo at the end of last month saw the star announce she was getting "surgery soon." It looks like the fake boobs are out, with Chrissy taking to social media to show an amusing side to the recovery process.

Chrissy took to both her Instagram and Twitter accounts post-surgery. While no photos of the star's chest were shared, amusing notes that appeared prepped while the star was undergoing her procedure were shared. A note written by daughter Luna read: "HAVE FUN PUNCHING YOUR BOOBIES OUT" – clearly, the kid knows what's up. Meanwhile, a separate note read: "BYE BOOBIES" with a mermaid emoji. The Instagram post quickly gained celebrity comments, with 53-year-old Oscar winner Halle Berry writing: "OMG" with a cry-face emoji. Actress Reese Witherspoon also wrote: "Kids are the best!"

Chrissy, who revealed undergoing a COVID-19 swab test prior to her surgery in May, told her 30.2 million Instagram followers: “A lot of people are understandably curious (and nosey!) so I’ll just say it here: I’m getting my boobs out! They’ve been great to me for many years but I’m just over it,” she shared. “I’d like to be able to zip a dress in my size, lay on my belly with pure comfort!" the star added. Chrissy got fully candid about the decision she made back when she was 20, speaking to Glamour and saying: “Yeah, I did my boobs when I was about 20 years old. It was more for a swimsuit thing. I thought, if I’m going to be posing, laid on my back, I want them to be perky!" The model added that having babies made her breasts "fill up with milk and deflate and now I am screwed." She continued: "Honestly, I kept them the same cup size. I just filled them out, so they are rounder and firmer."

From one humorous face to another. Comedian Whitney Cummings was quick to comment on Chrissy's Instagram post. The 37-year-old wrote: "Can I have your implants they took out since mine got recalled." Advice also came in from one user, writing: "Pineapple juice helped me a ton to reduce inflammation when I got mine out ✨happy recovery!" Chrissy, a mom to 3-year-old Luna and 1-year-old Miles is known for having bravely breastfed on Instagram. The love is still there, just a little less enhanced.
