Emily Ratajkowski turned 29 in a bikini – fitting for the supermodel who has been running her Inamorata swim and lingerie line since 2017. The London-born star whose jaw-dropping body sees her merch sell itself turned 29 on June 7. Thursday saw EmRata update her Instagram – followed by 26.5 million – with a series of low-key birthday shots from her L.A. quarantine. The group and solo snaps also included 2018-married husband Sebastian BearMcClard, plus a video inclusion featuring the couple’s much-loved dog Colombo.
You know the drill. Scroll for the photos, plus the celebrity response.
Scroll for the photos. Emily – who isn’t one to go conservative with her stylish swimwear – had opted out of turning her birthday post into a giant figure-flaunt. The model whose Instagram has been near 100% dedicated to Black Lives Matter since the May 25 murder of black man George Floyd had channeled the chill route, opening with a photo showing her lounging on a curved green couch and wearing bike shorts and a crop top. Emily’s followers know when to swipe, though.
Instagram is business for Emily. The model – whose own bikini body was snapped far out as she caught rays on a grass-laid towel and in a teeny-tiny string two-piece – had included another female in her update. The unnamed woman seen reclining on a sun-drenched lounger and reading a book was in the Orpheus bikini that’s proven so popular amid Inamorata fans this year. Emily, meanwhile, also showed off her dancing skills as she shimmied with dog Colombo – the bikini body likely got noticed by the stunner’s fans, though. Scroll for the backyard shot.
If you don’t live inside EmRata’s Instagram, she posted twice to make her birthday. A button-down shirt photo seeing Emily peep the camera behind a giant bouquet of flowers was captioned: “Thank you all for the birthday love” – it also got a celebrity response, with “Happy birthday gorge” coming from Israeli actress Gal Gadot. Model Kaia Gerber also left a like. Today’s round two, meanwhile, was briefly captioned: “Birthday ??♊️.”
More photos below, plus how Emily slammed #BlackoutTuesday’s little black squares as social media marked Floyd’s death on June 2.
Emily was not alone in damning #BlackoutTuesday as millions switched their social media to a plain black square to back Black Lives Matter. Rapper Lil Nas X also criticized the concept, with Emily’s stance made clear via her Twitter. “So easy to post a black square. I’m seeing people who haven’t posted in YEARS come on to post a black square. Your silence was embarrassing and now you can feel good about yourself while doing the bare minimum. This is the worst kind of virtual signaling,” the model wrote. The full birthday gallery is below.
