“Gold Rush” star Tyler Mahoney knows that not all treasure is buried beneath the Earth’s surface, because the Australian gold prospector is showing off a permanent piece of art she had inked on her skin. Mahoney revealed to fans this week that she just added a new tattoo to her collection and proudly showed off the body ink.
However, the placement of the 21-year-old stunner’s tattoo wasn’t easily shown without shedding some clothing, so Mahoney showed some serious skin along with her new piece.
Mahoney, who starred in the last season of Discoery’s “Gold Rush: Parker’s Trail,” took off her shirt to reveal the new tattoo she received in the middle of her back.
“thanks legends,” the TV star wrote while giving a shoutout to the tattoo shop in Perth, Australia who inked her with a snake wrapped around a sword, otherwise known as the Rod of Asclepius. The symboln of a snake coiled around a sword is commonly featured in tattoos in different cultures around the world and typically associated with healing and medicine.
Although most fans gave Mahoney positive praise on social media after showing off her new body ink, there were some trolls who shot off some rude comments. Luckily, the “Gold Rush” star didn’t have any problem responding directly to those who dropped offensive messages.
“If you’re going to post a topless picture just remember you will get a lot of guys asking you to turn around and can’t really get mad about it..” one troll wrote in the comment feed.
“just remember that me posting a photo doesn’t actually give some one the right to be rude. Super easy for them to keep their comments to them selves,” Mahoney responded and was praised by other fans.
While Tyler Mahoney’s debut season on “Gold Rush: Parker’s Trail” is over, her career in gold and TV is far from over. Aside from also appearing in the Australian reality series, “Aussie Gold Hunters,” Mahoney owns and operates a private prospecting club where she provides tips and insights to paid members.
There is also the possibility that she returns for another season on Discovery alongside Parker Schnabel, as the door was left open for Schnabel to return filming in Australia following a land purchase he made at the end of the last season.
