Draya Michele has been catching mad traffic on her Instagram – and shaking mad booty. The 35-year-old reality star and Mint Swim founder clocked herself a sweet 1 million views overnight on Tuesday as she posted a mash-up video showing her weekend retreat at a luxury lakehouse in Big Bear, CA.
Draya – whose Instagram is followed by 8 million – posted a mash-up video of herself and her squad, with each part of the footage showing a backside-popping dance. Her stories as well as the video included a good old grind as Draya also prepped Sloppy Joes for dinner.
Scroll for the video now seeing fans write: “I need people to do this with me.” It kicked off with Draya and her crowd out on the open water and backed by a lake. Draya was looking snatched in a black-and-white pair of sweatpants and skintight blue top, then going more revealing as footage also showed her on the boat and zooming through waters. The Fashion Nova partner also included indoor moments – Draya, who has admitted to three tablespoons of butter in her “KINDA HEALTHY SALMON” was also seen getting down in the kitchen as Sloppy Joes prep got fun at the stove. More below.
Draya, who founded her Mint Swim brand with the $12,000 she saved up – only to see the company valued at $1 million in 2017 – is a natural when it comes to milking social media. Those IG updates are nearly always caption-nailed, with March seeing Draya “Living out my very own BRAZZERS” fantasy” as she cleaned floors in rubber gloves and a Fashion Nova bralette and pants – the Lysol snap seemed to shout out COVID-19. There was also that bikini where Draya wrote: “I like ’em 6ft away.” Keep scrolling for more photos.
Proof that Draya can rake in the engagement without a bikini. The ex to Orlando Scandrick had shared the finished Sloppy Joes product to her stories – alongside toasting S’mores by a fire – with the comments section seeming to have zero’d in on the booty shake at the stove. “It’s the kitchen scene ??,” one fan wrote. “The Who’s next be killin me???,” another said. Celebrity comments also came in from model Devin Brugman and Instagram face Daphne Joy, plus Victoria’s Secret model Shanina Shaik.
Draya hit pause on the Mint Swim promo in the wake of May 25-murdered black man George Floyd and the resurgence of Black Lives Matter – a movement that Draya fully backs as she continues to show support alongside reccing black-owned businesses. Draya has even unfollowed some brands on Twitter on account of their attitudes. The star resumed promo for her Kylie Jenner-approved brand this week, dropping a red hot string bikini shot as she wrote: “It’s been a very rough start to our summer but we’ve got our good health so no complaints. Still delivering new styles as planned on @mintswimusa #blackownedbusiness.”
