Miley Cyrus is being told she needs a wash. The 27-year-old singer – whose headline-making has largely centered around her backing Black Lives Matter of late – fronted media outlets at the end of last week as paparazzi photos showed her hiking through L.A.’s nature with 23-year-old boyfriend Cody Simpson. Miley, known for her stunning yoga-honed body, had opted for the skimpiest booty shorts and sports bra look for her outing. While comments regarding the “SHE IS COMING” singer’s rock-hard muscles threw her the thumbs-up, others now see the blonde being to an extent trolled – viewers seem to think Miley could do with a bath.
Click or scroll the photos that saw Miley sun-drenched, carefree, and enjoying her workout with boyfriend Cody and the couple’s dog Bo. The former “Hannah Montana” star – who has largely been covering up since COVID-19 and George Floyd’s death – was seen in her all-black look and a face mask, with “The Masked Singer” face Cody shirtless. Unfortunately, for the singer, remarks centering around her hygiene have now racked up hundreds of upvotes – it’s also not the first time, with the singer’s “quarantine bikini” doing the same.
Not the kindest feedback to a star known for rocking fuss-free looks and zero makeup –Miley went bare-faced recently as she showed off her new pixie haircut. A comment sitting at 386 likes on The Daily Mail – where images were published – simply reads: “She needs a good wash.” The thought seemed echoed by others. “Wash!” one user wrote, with over 400 users upvoting the comment. “Yep, she always looks like she needs a good bath” was yet another mention. Miley, whose A-Lister status also sees her as one of music’s biggest activists via her social media and Happy Hippie non-profit foundation, was, however, dubbed “inspirational” by multiple users.
“Amazing tattoos, great role model and an amazing natural talent.. we are so blessed witnessing this superstar do her stuff,” one user wrote. The “Bright Minded” Instagram host whose series has solely focused on spreading goodwill amid the pandemic was also called an “inspiration” – also mentioned was Miley opting out of fake tan, with a comment saying: “It’s nice to see someone as pale as me for once!”
Miley, followed by 110 million on Instagram, is fresh from announcing that her Happy Hippie Foundation is increasing its efforts for justice in the wake of black man George Floyd’s murder on May 25. Cyrus wrote:
“A day to listen & learn…. @happyhippiefdn and I will continue posting on stories information and resources to amplify black voices and community organizations. Please do not forget that today is PRIMARY ELECTION DAY in several states! For more info visit Happy Hippies Instagram.” Miley also observed #BlackoutTuesday last week in honor of Floyd, murdered at the hands of former white police officer Derek Chauvin.
