Ariel Winter had the perfect message for any paparazzi chasing her ahead of the weekend. The “Modern Family” actress – nonetheless snapped as she ran errands at a CVS in Studio City, CA – came armed with a skimpy crop top delivering a statement message: in short, Ariel “can’t” because she’s “busy.” The latter very much proved to be the status quo as the 22-year-old was spotted heading into the pharmacy. She also happened to look great overall. Yes, even with her COVID-19 face mask.

Ariel, frequently photographed with 25-year-old boyfriend Luke Benward, was solo here, seen 100% makeup-free and looking summery as she was photographed near boarded-up windows. The girl behind Alex Dunphy had gone casual, flaunting the 30 pounds she lost in 2019 via a dove gray pair of joggers, plus a tight, skimpy, and trendy black crop top – “CAN’T, I’M BUSY” was printed across it. Plastic-rimmed eye-glasses and a “No Bad Energy- Nas” face mask completed the simple outfit as Ariel also wore black loafers.
Photos are below. Ariel’s face masks have been making headlines amid COVID-19. Likewise, her choice of outfits for those skimpy grocery trips – when the star is forgetting her pants, it’ll make a headline. Early May also saw Ariel drop a sweet $227 on takeout. Then again, last month saw the sitcom star accidentally slice off the tip of her thumb – and throw it away.
June, however, has largely seen Ariel opt out of her typical updates amid the murder of 46-year-old unarmed black man George Floyd – the star has been speaking out.
Like much of the celebrity world, Ariel went dark on her Instagram last Tuesday in honor of both Floyd and the Black Lives Matter movement. The star then posted stories saying: “We all need to do better. This isn’t new.” The star added: “I know I can never even begin to imagine this kind of pain and struggle and fear just to exist, but I’m here to support and fight against this hate however I can.” Meanwhile, a separate story read: “Also…let’s please remember…JUSTICE, not violence.”
Eleven years of “Modern Family” wrapping up afforded Winter a full Teen Vogue feature, with the star covering the highly-publicized body-shaming she’s been subject to over the years – even when she dropped those 30 pounds. Winter also outlined the level of trolling she can face, saying: “When someone calls you a ‘fat slut,’ you’re not feeling happy about it. It doesn’t matter what you look like now, it doesn’t matter what you looked like then. You’re still going to read that and be like, ‘Oh, that sucks.'”
