Earlier this week, the reality star, 38, shared a pic alongside two of her kids. It came via Instagram Story and appeared to be a vacation throwback.
A user on Twitter side-by-sided what they say is the original pic next to the one Kardashian posted. The second pic has a more natural lighting, and 6-year-old North’s stomach is noticeably smaller.
The person who shared the photo(s) in question said “this is legitimately disgusting.”
“Kim Kardashian photoshopped [sic] her young daughter’s body. She literally bodyshamed her daughter. wtf,” they wrote last night.
“This is gross, but honestly what do you expect?” someone replied. “Kris is a MONSTER who pushed horrible standards onto her children forcing them into assets, so ofc Kim is going to start treating her daughter the same. Because it’s not about the kids anymore, it’s about their marketability.”
“:( this makes me so sad that kids gonna grow up to be so self concious bro :(,” another said.
Another felt, “it’s not that serious” as “she can do what she wants.”
The Twitter account accusing Kardashian of bodyshaming her daughter is also a Taylor Swift fan account – Swift and Kardashian have butted heads for many years.
Their famous feud largely began after Kardashian married rapper Kanye West in 2014. The pair share three other children: oldest son Saint West (4), daughter Chicago West (2), and youngest son Psalm West (13 months).
Like Swift, Kardashian and West have each spoken up in the wake of George Floyd’s murder. The SKIMS founder made her statement on Instagram last week:
“The privilege I am afforded by the color of my skin has often left me feeling like this is not a fight I can truly take on as my own.
“Like so many of you, I am angry. I am more than angry. I am infuriated and I am disgusted. I am exhausted by the heartbreak I feel seeming mothers fathers, sisters, brothers and children suffering because their loved one was murdered or locked away unjustly for being black.”
The beauty mogul ended her letter by sharing her hope “to help amplify those voices that have been muffled for too long.”
“Kanye’s donated $2 million, so far, to the cause and set up a 529 college savings fund to fully cover tuition for Floyd’s 6-year-old daughter, Gianna. He’s also made a separate donation to cover the legal costs for the Arbery and Taylor families,” the outlet said on Thursday.
“Along with that, a rep confirms Kanye’s donating to several black-owned businesses in his hometown of Chicago and nationwide that have been in crisis and impacted by the unrest in the U.S.”
Wife Kim has also been a longtime proponent of justice reform and is actively studying to become a lawyer.
