Jake Paul Denies Looting Arizona Mall Allegations After A Viral Video Surfaced

Since the protest for Black Lives Matter began, some people have taken to malls and other business places, to raid and loot it. This has sparked up concern among social media users and the police have decided to put an end to it. Several videos of protesters using the ongoing campaign as a cover to loot places of business, has made it to the internet.

While some people are defending the gesture, others are preaching against it at all cost.

Social media went into a frenzy when a video surfaced online. In the video, YouTube star, Jake Paul appeared to be joining the looting scheme in the name of protesting for the black community. When his fans watched the video, many of them relayed their disappointment in the YouTuber for stooping so low.

However, others were not so forgiving as they called him out immediately, warranting an explanation for what appeared to be a loot in progress, involving Paul. Let's find out what he had to say for himself.

The backlash had gone on for a long time, and it got to a point that some fans did not even have to see the video, they believed that Paul was involved in the looting.

Throughout this time, Paul remained silent and refrained from saying anything, however, as time went on, he could not keep to himself again. Paul immediately took to his social media page to explain to everyone what really happened in the video and deny his involvement in the looting.

According to the 23-year-old, he was only at the scene of the loot, to document it on his phone. He said that he had no intention of looting the mall, as he only wanted to keep a record of it. Paul also cleared members of his group whom he said were doing the same thing he was doing.

Furthermore, Paul expressed his feelings on the looting issues, urging people to find a common ground and move forward with their lives.

"I do not condole , looting or breaking the law; however, I understand the anger and frustration that led to the destruction we witnessed and while it's not the answer, it's important that people see it and collectively figure out how to move forward in a healthy way." Paul wrote.

According to reports, several stores, including the Arizona mall have been vandalized by looters. The report also confirms that millions of dollars have gone down the drain in damages and theft.
