Jenelle Evans has thoughts and – it would seem – plans as the U.S.’ wave of mass riots and protests continue. The former “Teen Mom 2” star didn’t receive particularly positive feedback on Monday as a screenshot of her Facebook post was circulated – Jenelle, 28, has not made any statements on her Instagram regarding the murder of 46-year-old black man George Floyd, but she addressed the aftermath of his death via a post now seeing her called her “usual ignorant self” over on social networking platform Reddit.
Reddit used these words to entitle a thread dedicated to Jenelle’s Facebook post. It read:
“Well while all of you are rioting and destroying your precious cities, I’ll be far far away on my boat away from all of you.”
The post also came with Jenelle tagging herself as “with David Eason” – the formerly-estranged couple is now back on. While the screenshot showed over 200 likes, remarks on Reddit did not send Jenelle the thumbs-up. The most upvoted reply came cuss-filled, but it racked up those likes. Scroll for the reactions.
Over 130 likes were left to a lengthy comment opening: “First of all. F-ck Jenelle. This post of hers makes me especially mad because she and her dirt bag husband think this sh-t is a game.” Meanwhile, a comment also gaining popularity read: “Breaking news, Jenelle doesn’t care about people.”
Reddit’s “Teen Mom” fans are notorious for ripping the cast to shreds, but they also seem to know their MTV history. “I mean, her own husband riots and destroys,” one user wrote – Eason, along with Jenelle, was fired from “Teen Mom 2” in 2019 for fatally shooting the family dog Nugget after it allegedly bit 3-year-old daughter Ensley.

A user clearly making a pun over the racism issue currently sweeping America wrote: Sounds about white. Way to show your privilege,” then calling Jenelle a “hillbilly.”
As to “privilege,” that was a word that “Teen Mom 2” star Chelsea Houska faced over the weekend.
As The Blast reported, the 28-year-old’s fashionista photo showing her in cute shorts and a blazer jacket from the Lauribelles brand she fronts was slammed – not for the look, but for what appeared to be a silence over George Floyd. Chelsea was “unfollowed” and told: “Your privilege is showing,” although the mom of three has since marked the situation with a sober series of IG stories. More heat came for Farrah Abraham.
Former “Teen Mom OG” star Farrah Abraham has also been making headlines as George Floyd dominates social media. The 29-year-old’s emotional tribute somewhat backfired as her 2 million followers pointed out both a racist remark she made on “Marriage Boot Camp,” plus a 2016 comment to model Blac Chyna – seemingly out of the blue, it read: “F–kin monkey ewe s–t come up 4 what she is a nothing.”
Also taking to social media to contribute to #BlackLivesMatter have been “Teen Mom 2” star Kailyn Lowry, plus “Teen Mom OG” faces including Mackenzie McKee and Cheyenne Floyd.
