Simone Biles flashed that chest piercing today. The 23-year-old gymnast – now the world’s most-decorated – has, understandably, been opting out of her trademark weekend bikini updates amid the murder of 46-year-old black man George Floyd. While Simone’s Instagram has stayed quiet over the man whose neck was kneeled on for over eight minutes by a former white police officer – killing him – her Twitter has not: “We have to do better America,” Simone wrote on May 30. Her Sunday stories proved that life goes on, despite the horror and sadness.
Scroll for the photo seeing Simone with friend Rachel Moore – another showed the 30-time World and Olympic medalist with home designer and lifestyle blogger Kayla Simone. Biles, who hasn’t opened up on the sternum piercing that typically takes 6-12 weeks to heal, is, of course, a seasoned piercing lover, regularly flashing that belly one and doing so early on into COVID-19 with her headline-making “wine to five” thirst trap. Videos of Simone’s home gymnastics are below. And yes, Halle Berry comments on them.
The selfie showed Simone with Rachel. An unfussy kitchen setting saw the two chilling out with Simone rocking a skimpy, black, spaghetti-strap top that flashed her piercing as she also delivered her stunning smile. Biles – whose belly ring accompanies her nose and chest one – opted out of a caption, doing the same back in February 2020 when she debuted the sternum piercing and wrote: “Kinda unbothered.” Fans, however, were bothered – “Did it hurt?” one asked.
Far bigger in the news, however, has been Simone both dealing with the 2020 Tokyo Olympics being canceled, plus her now-viral Handstand Challenge. Scroll for the video and her “Carole Baskin'” bikini.
Simone’s bikini snaps – which have even sparked a $100 bidding war on Instagram – have been going steady throughout May. Tiger-print shouted out hit Netflix series “Tiger King” as Simone amusingly captioned her shot: “Carole Baskin,'” with a cheeky black thong bikini also posted. The Ohio native’s 3.8 million followers have, however, been commenting on the level of swimwear photos amid speculation that Simone has split from boyfriend Stavey Ervin Jr. Her beau is alleged to have cheated on her over Valentine’s Day.
Simone admitted that she “cried” upon learning that COVID-19 had postponed the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. The gymnast is, however, now back to training after missing two months of it. “After that amount of time off, it kind of sucks because your body hurts and then you get really sore,” she told ESPNW, adding:
“So you just have to get back into the swing of things. But it felt nice to see my coaches, my teammates, and just to be back on the equipment and in the environment.”
