Cynthia Nixon Was THE 'Determined Gravy Maker' On Thanksgiving

Cynthia Nixon is all about making fans salivate with her social media update on how she spent Thanksgiving with her beloved family.

Nixon showed the public that she was determined to make a famous American sauce for herself and her loved ones.

The star uploaded several photographs giving an insight into her holidays and did not forget to wish others happy celebrations.

Thanksgiving is not only enjoyed because it brings loved ones together but for the many delicious meals of the day, especially the turkey.

The loving matriarch gave a lovely Instagram shoutout to her followers. She also showed that she was not going to let her family have anything less than stellar sauce.

Nixon uploaded a slideshow, showing herself looking radiant as she donned on an apron while handling two pots of gravy in a busy kitchen. 

The slideshow also showed a photo of the "Ratched" actress's cat and an intimate candlelight dinner set up for her family.

Nixon captioned the post, "This is the face of a very determined gravy maker. Hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving!" with a leaf emoji.

Nixon praised the iconic Vanessa Redgrave for being a role model to her and her "And Just Like That" co-star Sarah Jessica Parker.

The 55-year-old shared on Instagram that she and Parker have learned much from the incomparable Redgrave, whose kindness in their childhood inspired them to follow in her footsteps. 

Nixon posted two pictures. One showed her, and her co-star all smiles onset of the "Sex and the City" reboot.

The second was a throwback from "My Body, My Child," the 1982 movie which featured the trio. Nixon added that they are lucky to have reunited with Carrie and Miranda in their mid-fifties.

In 2018, Nixon contested for the post of New York City's governor by bidding for the Democratic party's nomination.

Unfortunately, she did not meet the minimum requirement of 25% of votes to receive a ballot listing, The Blast recounted.

Andrew Mark Cuomo won by a landslide by securing 95% of people's votes for the September 13 election that year.

Nixon did not give up and expressed her plans to gather thousands of signatures in an attempt to earn herself a position on the ballot.

Kim Cattrall was buddies with her "Sex and the City" co-stars while playing her role as Samantha Jones, but she does not consider all of them as her friends off-camera.

The Blast also shared that, in 2018, when Cattrall lost her beloved brother, Jones and Nixon reached out to the grieving actress with their condolences. 

Nixon wrote on her IG that she was sorry to hear the awful news and sent the aggrieved hugs and kisses. 

Catrall responded that hearing Nixon's voice meant a lot to her. She thanked her co-star and also sent her love.

When Parker sent her condolences, The "Filthy Rich" star replied with, "You are not my family. You are not my friend," fueling rumors that her hatred for Parker was still burning hot.
