Ruby Rose is finally fully addressing her controversial departure from The CW's hit program "Batwoman," a role that she only occupied for one season. The network has been working diligently to expand its DC Comics roster including "The Flash," "Arrow," "Black Lightning," "Supergirl" and "Legends of Tomorrow," given the renewed interest in superhero-related content over the last few years.

Speaking out on Instagram on Wednesday following a larger announcement she shared earlier this month, Rose addressed why she left the hit role, saying "those who know, know."

Rose was sure to thank everyone who made "Batwoman" happen while she was a castmember, captioning her Instagram post, "Thank you everyone for coming on this journey. If I mentioned everyone it would be 1000 tags.. but Thank you to the cast, crew, producers and studio."

The actress explained that although she had opted to stay silent on matters regarding her departure until now, she felt as though it was apt to thank the "community" of people that made "Batwoman" happen.

"It wasn’t an easy decision but those who know, know.. I didn’t want to not acknowledge everyone involved and how big this was for TV and for our community," Rose shared candidly in the post.

"I have stayed silent because that’s my choice for now but know I adore you all. I’m sure next season will be amazing also. Xxx *hangs up cowl and cape," she concluded the touching caption dedicated to her coworkers and castmates for the last year.

This post is the first statement Rose has made since rumors came out that she had left "Batwoman" because of an erratic and often drawn-out filming schedule that interfered with her daily life.

At the official time of her exit, Rose shared a long-worded statement to social media as well, touching on some of the reasoning behind her departure.

"I have made the very difficult decision to not return to ‘Batwoman’ next season. This was not a decision I made lightly as I have the utmost respect for the cast, crew and everyone involved with the show in both Vancouver and in Los Angeles," read the actress' statement.

"I am beyond appreciative to Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter and Caroline Dries for not only giving me this incredible opportunity, but for welcoming me into the DC universe they have so beautifully created. Thank you Peter Roth and Mark Pedowitz and the teams at Warner Bros. and The CW who put so much into the show and always believed in me. Thank you to everyone who made season one a success - I am truly grateful," she concluded her touching farewell to the hit show.
