After a long hiatus, Nikki Bella, one-half of the dynamic Bella Twins, has returned to the spotlight!
The former WWE Diva and her sister Brie got candid about the next phase of their lives in a recent interview with ET.
The "Total Divas" stars shared juicy details about their podcast and preparations for Nikki's upcoming wedding to the professional dancer, Artem Chigvintsev.
Nikki Bella Cannot Wait For Her Big Day
After a six-month break, the Bella sisters are back with their fan-favorite podcast, "The Bellas," which is now hosted on SiriusXM and Stitcher.
The vacation was necessary for the reality TV stars to relax and get back in the business with new innovative ideas. But what was on everyone's mind was the date of Nikki's wedding.
On the anticipated occasion, the 38-year-old confessed that a feasible date wasn't in sight. Although the pair initially wanted their ceremony to be on Thanksgiving, everything changed with the COVID-19 restrictions.
The mother-of-one stated that the wedding was on hold until Artem's parents could leave Russia. The bride-to-be said:
"The one promise I made [Artem] before we can plan, is that his parents can attend, and with where the world's at right now and trying to get two Russian parents into the country, it's almost impossible." [Sic]
The pandemic may have stopped the wedding preparations, but it hasn't killed the "Incomparable" author's enthusiasm to tie the knot with the Russian heartthrob.
The former athlete admitted that she couldn't wait to walk down the aisle for a special reason. In her words:
"I really do want to get married. I mean, selfishly, I just want to have that, like, one big day about me, I can't wait for that and to wear that dress, but I do want to marry Artem."
The 2-Time WWE Divas Champion Experienced A Rough Patch In Her Relationship
Earlier this month, The Blast reported that Nikki opened up about a difficult period in her relationship with the ballroom dancer.
The TV personality discussed her problems with Brie on their famous "The Bellas" podcast. The mother-of-one confessed that she was plagued with doubts when the lovebirds were apart.
At the time, Chigvintsev was a contestant on "Dancing With The Stars" while his fiancee served as a judge for the upcoming competitive show "America's Got Talent: Extreme."
During this period, the retired WWE star struggled with multitasking her career and being a single parent to the pair's son, Matteo.
The job became more challenging as the 38-year-old missed her fiance and was worried he wouldn't put in extra effort in their long-distance relationship.
Fortunately, the couple was able to scale through the difficult phase with "sexy FaceTime" sessions in addition to "couple's therapy."
Before the trouble in paradise occurred, The Blast shared that the businesswoman was considering having a second baby with her man.
The former athlete confessed that she wanted another child by the time she clocked 39 or 40-years-old. Naturally, the child would only be conceived if both parties were in agreement.
