Larsa Pippen knows how to caption those Instagram photos. The 45-year-old reality star and ex to NBA icon Scottie Pippen shot up Twitter trends these past weeks as the ESPN-aired “The Last Dance” documentary covered 2018-estranged husband Scottie’s years with the Chicago Bulls – Larsa has since wound up front-page news both for supporting her ex’s career earnings and for drama over the former couple’s now-ended marriage.
Memorial Day weekend brought a fresh Instagram photo from the former “Real Housewives of Miami” star. It showed off her “ride or die,” plus exactly how basketball player kids take after their dads.
Scroll for the photo. Larsa – who has fronted media outlets for a rumored affair with rapper Future, and denied the allegations – updated her account on Saturday with a photo that kept it in the family. The new Larsa Pippen Fitness founder had snapped herself in a cute bedroom selfie with 2002-born son Preston – and yes, tall basketball players have tall kids. Larsa was positively dwarved by her son as he towered over his mom, with Larsa herself showing off her fit figure in green sweatpants and an ab-flashing crop top as she wrote: “My ride or die. Outfit: @prettylittlething.”
Racking up over 9,000 likes in an hour, the update proved a hit, also seeing fans love the mom-and-son moment, plus the height difference.
“Sheesh, he got tall,” one fan wrote.
“Looks just like his dad, ??” another said.
Larsa is a mother of four and soon to be inching her way towards 50, although the star recently made headlines for being told that she looks 21 in a wet-haired selfie showing off her stunning good looks. While some fans left heart emoji, others shaded the star, bringing up her drama with “Life Is Good” rapper Future – one user simply mentioned the multi baby-daddy’s name.
Larsa’s post proved a double-whammy, with the star cramming in both her family moment and her influencing gig with clothing empire Pretty Little Thing – Larsa regularly shouts out the brand as a part of her ongoing partnership with it.
Those comments about the height just kept on coming, though.
“You just had that baby. Scottie spit him out! He is a giant in the making , ???” a user wrote.
Larsa announced her divorce from Scottie in 2018, having both denied allegations that she was a cheat and a gold-digger. “The Last Dance” then saw the star’s Instagram hijacked by Scottie fans – and with reason.
Dubbed “grossly underpaid,” Scottie and his pay with the Chicago Bulls was one of the focal points as “The Last Dance” detailed the 54-year-old’s $30 million pay across seven seasons while fellow NBA face Michael Jordan earned $18 million per season. Larsa took to Twitter to back her ex as she screenshotted his $109 million+ career earnings, although there’s since been drama with Larsa continuously firing back at allegations that she cheated on her husband.
Larsa does not feature Scottie on her Instagram, followed by 1.9 million fans.
