“Teen Mom OG” star Mackenzie McKee took to social media on Friday to attempt to clarify comments she made in a Facebook post earlier in the week in which she accused her husband, Josh, of cheating on her. In the post, McKee says she is ready to “walk away” from him; the two have been separated since last year.
“What all went on? Idk,” she said after revealed he had an affair with a “close cousin.”
“My family will never be the same and we are all torn. I WAS NOT only hurt by him, but by her,” she added.
She says she suspects the infidelity started a couple weeks after he mom died in December.
“Life slowly turned into him working all day, coming home to shower and fishing all night. Again, I wondered, ‘What is wrong with me, I need him here to hold me together,’ but gave him grace and knew he didn’t know how to handle it,” she wrote.
She clarified her comments in a series of tweets.
“I never used the word ‘banging’ or ‘cheating’ please stop stalking and digging for relatives and invading privacy. Josh was texting and calling her for advice on how to handle me and to me that was wrong on both ends and enough to walk away. Now let’s all move along,” she wrote.
McKee then claimed it was an emotional affair, not a physical one.

“They refuse to call it that. But I do think an emotional affair is a thing. I do not go to men for marital advice. Unless a counselor,” she wrote. “Not physically but it was wrong,” McKee said in response to one fan.
“I was a bit dramatic on the number but it was a lot of text. In a time he should have been focusing on getting me Help,” she wrote in response to writing that Josh was texting the cousin 300-600 times a month.
“I’m not sure the time of the phone calls but he was fishing until 3 am a lot latly. Who knows what time the calls happened. But like I said. I walked away so I don’t have to ever wonder,” she continued.
“Tabloids used the word cheat and bang. Not me. But them texting was being hidden from me and the situation was not ok,” she insisted.
She concluded by responding to a person who said they will get back together. “Nah, I’m good,” McKee said.
