For many months now, Doja Cat has been the talk of the internet; for her amazing singles and incredible videos. She is mostly popular on TikTok as fans cannot stop using her songs for their dance videos. It is safe to say that Doja has been giving it her all since she came into the industry and fans love her for that. Well, they did some days back.

Although Doja is loved by her fan base and her popularity is growing speedily, she has met with some bumps on the way.

Doja once revealed that she does not have a close relationship with her father, though he comments on her posts all the time.

Evidently, Doja is used to attracting controversy to herself and it seems like this time around, fans are done with her. Many of the backlashes she has received from fans, stemmed from her problematic tweets and opinions on various topics that trend on social media. Of course, she is entitled to her opinions, but fans are starting to see that they are more than opinions, which is why she may be cancelled.

Recently, Doja became the trending topic once again on social media, but this time around, it was for a totally different reason.

On May 22, 2020, Doja was accused of spilling racist comments on social media in the past. A fan shared a photo showing Doja dropping racist comments during a conversation on TinyChats. After a while, a thread was created on Lipstick Alley and fans weighed in on it.

When her fans saw the allegation, they did not give her a moment to speak out, rather, they slammed her continuously till it became a trend.

Fans went as far as trending #dojacatisoverparty on social media, so that other people could know that they were really serious about it.

Since the allegation was backlash on social media, Doja is yet to respond and fans are definitely waiting ti hear what she has to say about it.

Doja's real name is Amalaratna Zandille Dlamini, who was born in Los Angeles, California, U.S.A on October 21, 1995. Doja became engrossed in music as a teenager, when she started uploading on SoundCloud.

WHen she was 16, she decided to drop out of High School to pursue her music career. She began by downloading beats from YouTube, to create unique sounds of her own.

The following year, she landed a record deal with RCA and Kemosabe Records. In this year, she released an extended play titled "Purrr!"

Fast forward to 2019, Doja her second studio album titled "Hot Pink," and it was filled with amazing singles, many of which are popular till now. Her first album titled "Amala" became 138 on the Billboard 200, which was no doubt a hug success for her.

One of her singles titled "Candy," sparked a viral dance challenge on TikTok and became 86 on the Billboard Hot 100.
