The gift from the former Iron Chef was revealed Friday evening as Parker prepared dinner with his family. The star was making fresh pasta at home with his 6-year-old daughter, Betty, and wife Boogie. Trey and Boogie are currently going through a divorce, but appear to still be together and remain a strong family unit.
In one photo, Trey and Betty are seen rolling pasta on their Kitchenaid stand mixer. The mixer is pretty nice, but what makes it even cooler is the permanent transcription. Another photo reveals a message scrawled out on the side of the stand mixer from none other than Bobby Flay.
“For Trey. Thanks for your generosity! I’m a great fan of South Park,” the message read along with an autograph from the “Beat Bobby Flay” star.
It’s unclear exactly when Flay gifted the appliance, but it may have something to do with his 2010 appearance on “South Park.”
In the Season 14 finale of “South Park,” Bobby Flay appeared in the episode titled “Crème Fraîche.” In the episode, Flay shows up to South Park Elementary to challenge Randy Marsh to a cooking competition after Eric Cartman impersonates Gordon Ramsay and takes a liking to the school cafeteria.
Unfortunately for Marsh, Flay creates a new show, entitled “Hell’s Kitchen Nightmares Iron Top Chef Cafeteria Throwdown Ultimate Cookoff Challenge.”
The episode featured other Food Network stars, including Jamie Oliver, Mario Batali, Masaharu Morimoto, Alton Brown, Giada De Laurentiis, and Paula Deen.
It doesn’t appear that Bobby Flay did his own voice for the episode, but clearly Parker was a big fan of the celebrity chef … and still cherishes the priceless gift.
