Devon Windsor, 26, revealed she was taken to a therapist when she was younger after being bullied in school.

While speaking on her YouTube channel, the Victoria's Secret model said she was bullied because of her appearance.

“A lot of it was physical appearance and being different. I was super tall at a really young age and super awkward," she admitted.

"I was awkward and lanky. That wasn’t great for me, that was something people picked on me for and bullied me a lot about.”

Due to the bullying, Windsor saw her school therapist who suggested she see a child therapist.

"I saw the school therapist and talked about my feelings,” Windsor said. “I was in middle school so this was the peak of my awkward years. They recommended I see a child therapist.”

And while she only saw the therapist for a short amount of time, the experience had a positive impact.

"It was to help me know I wasn’t alone in that situation and that’s why I’m doing this video so that you guys know you’re not alone," she told her viewers.

Windsor, who first started modeling when she was 14, received a lot of negative comments at the beginning of her career.

“I remember when Honesty Box was a thing, I had just started modeling and people would write in, ‘you’re the worst model, you’re so ugly, people only talk to you because of your sister.’ It really affected me," she said.

"I think people don’t realize, even myself, sometimes I’ll say something to my sister or my husband that could be hurtful and you don’t realize it.”

Born in Missouri, Windsor now lives in Miami with her husband, Johnny Barbara.

The two met in New York through mutual friends. And according to Windsor, she made the first move.

“I got Johnny's number from his co-worker and texted him to come out for a dinner. He responded the next morning because he was ['supposedly'] working all night—which turned out to be true! He then romanced me during Paris Fashion Week by sending me flowers every morning leading up to a surprise, which ended up being him in town for my birthday—the rest is history,” she told Harper’s Bazaar.

Barbara proposed to the model in June 2018 by spelling out the words “Marry Me?” on a private beach in the Bahamas. (Yes, seriously!)

The two tied the knot in November 2019 in St. Barths.

Their weekend-long celebration was filled with A-listers including, Georgia Fowler, Shanina Shaik, Olivia Culpo, and Cara Santana.

“The ceremony was intimate and cozy; Hailey Reinhart sang ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love’ as my maid of honor and flower girls walked down the aisle," Windsor said of the celebration.

"She then paused, the doors closed, and just as we rehearsed, she delivered the rest of the song as the door opened and I saw Johnny for the first time that day at the end of the aisle. His eyes were teary and so were mine. I will never forget that moment."
