Scheana Marie is admitting that she did feel a bit threatened when a series of new cast members, including Dayna Kathan, Max Boyens, Danica Dow, Brett Caprioni, and Charli Burnett, were brought to the cast of "Vanderpump Rules" last August for season eight.

During an appearance on "Everything Iconic" with Danny Pellegrino last week, Scheana explained why she wasn't too happy to see the new additions join the show and revealed why she felt some jealousy towards her fellow SUR Restaurant employees.

After Danny asked Scheana if she and Dayna were feuding, Scheana admitted that things started off rocky between the two of them. However, she made it clear that her issues with Dayna didn't step from her short-lived romance with Max.

"It started out that way because I was feeling like my job was threatened," she explained. "I felt like they were bringing in all these new people who actually work at SUR, who are not having to get paid. They're just putting it all out there."

"They just performed. And so, yeah, I definitely felt a threat for my job, not a personal threat, not a I'm-jealous-over-Max type of threatening. It was never like that," Scheana insisted.

According to Scheana, she was disappointed to see that Dayna felt she was threatened by her.

"I saw some of Dayna's interview bites and she's like, 'Girlfriend's threatened,' and I'm like, 'No... no.' It was like I thought my job was being threatened by newer, younger people coming in," Scheana clarified.

When asked if she felt that other original members of the "Vanderpump Rules" cast felt similarly, Scheana said that not everyone agreed with her sentiments.

"I think some [felt threatened], not to name names, think it is their show and the show is about them and they don't care because they are in every episode still. But then some of those people have not been in every episode this season," she said.

While it isn't out of the ordinary for shows to add a cast member or two in between seasons, "Vanderpump Rules" received five new full-time cast members during season eight, as well as two part-time cast members, Raquel Leviss and Beau Clark, both of whom had previously starred on past seasons of the reality show.
