Spears, who was born and bred in Louisiana, said that when she was young, she would always refer to herself as an ‘ugly duckling’ who also has a ‘bad teeth.’
Spears shared an amazing selfie with her fans, showing her new bangs and the rest of her h air packed into a ponytail. This was the beginning of her sad story from her childhood. According to the 38-year-old, her bangs stopped when she was in the third grade and it caused a lot of problems for her. She said that the reason why she wanted her bangs during that time, was because they helped to cover her forehead. When she did not have that again, it became a nightmare.
“It was such a big deal to expose my forehead. Only pretty people in the south could do that and I never felt pretty enough to pull it off. All the beauty pageant girls did it, but I never felt beauty pageants were my thing. I had bad teeth and felt like an ugly duckling.” Spears said.
Furthermore, she mentioned that one time, she gave herself a chance and approached a modelling agency, but they expressly showed her that she was not pretty enough to be a model.
