Ariana Madix And Tom Sandoval Dish On The Virtual Reunion Of 'Vanderpump Rules'

Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval recently opened up about the "Vanderpump Rules" reunion for season eight, which they taped virtually from their Valley Village home earlier this month.

During a live Facebook chat with the hosts of "The Jam TV Show", Ariana and Tom, who were seen moving into their new place on the Bravo series earlier this year, dished on the ins and outs of what they had to go through to make sure viewers would get the reunion they are surely hoping for.

“It was like the whole thing that you would do normally but we were setting it up with them on the phone telling us how,“ Ariana explained of how she and her co-stars got set up for the taping of the "Vanderpump Rules" reunion.

"But going into it, you wonder, how we are going to be able to hear each other or communicate and all of that very quickly went out the window," she continued. "I think it will be really good to watch.”

The 'Vanderpump Rules' Reunion Was 'Very Intense'

“The reunion itself, it was intense. It was very intense," Ariana explained of the taping.

While Ariana then said that she couldn't say much about how things ended up between her and her "Vanderpump Rules" cast mates, Tom, who Ariana has ben dating since season three, appreciated how well things went, considering the climate they are currently in.

“It went really well in the fact that we were all able to stay isolated," he explained, confirming he and his co-stars filmed separately.

A Lot Of Testing Went Into Ensuring The 'Vanderpump Rules' Reunion Would Go Off Without A Hitch

Speaking of the setup that went into the production of the "Vanderpump Rules" reunion, Tom said, "[They] dropped off [the equipment] at our house."

"They had to run through this fifteen times. They had fifteen different setups they delivered. They had paper they rolled out for us to put our chairs at. They had cameras and laptops with 60 inch TVs, lighting, microphones… It was a three or four hour setup with each person and they had to make it really easy for people like Jax and me even… I’m not the most tech-savy person," he admitted.

The 'Vanderpump Rules' Reunion Won't Look Like A Zoom Chat

While fans may not have the best situation in mind when they think of a virtual taping, Tom promised it wouldn't look like they he and his co-stars were having a Zoom chat.

"They did a great job. They’re not going to be watching a Zoom chat. They’re going to be watching a high-quality video,” he vowed.
