Wendy Williams usually has a packed audience for her 'The Wendy Williams Show' but she has since been conducting the show from home due to the coronavirus pandemic. She has had previous health issues in the past though such as taking a break from the show in 2018 to treat herself for Graves' disease. In 2017, Williams passed out during a live show in 2017 due to being low on electrolytes. Now, she is dealing with more issues and it is again from Graves' disease.

The Wendy Show released a statement on her social media feeds revealing that she will be taking a break from the show to treat this disease.

"Recently, Wendy has been dealing with symptoms from her Graves' disease which is causing fatigue. In consultation with her doctor and as a precautionary measure, she will be taking some time off as she continues to receive treatment. We look forward to welcoming Wendy back and continuing the Wendy@Home shows. More updates on a return date will follow."

Last year, Williams also dealt with the disease in addition to a fractured shoulder. Legal battles also ensued as she was in the process of divorcing her husband, Kevin Hunter. They had been married since 1997. Things got heated as her son, almost got into a physical altercation in a parking lot with him last year over the way he treated his mother and rumors of him cheating as well. To help out with the show, Nick Cannon served as a guest host.

Williams' divorce was finalized in January as she still came out on top legally as the sole owner of their production company. Hunter had served as executive producer of her show. Additionally, the profits from their New Jersey home will be split 50/50. She will still pay for his health insurance though in addition to maintaining a $1 million life insurance policy that will go to Hunter if she passes away.

"Thank you to everyone for respecting the family's privacy during this time," Williams' rep said to E! News after the divorce. "Kevin is supportive of Wendy and they are working through this process together."

Williams has had some hot takes on her show lately as well as she criticized Ray J for being a bad husband to Princess Love after she recently filed for divorce. Many believe that that ended after the R&B star supposedly left Love and their daughter stranded in Las Vegas after an argument. Williams also advised Lil Wayne's daughter, Reginae Carter, to stop dating rappers, athletes, and "weirdos." This is after Carter's split from Atlanta rapper, YFN Lucci, at the end of 2019.

Much prayers and condolences go out to Wendy Williams at this time. Hopefully, she recovers quickly and we will be able to see her return to her show soon.
