Jessie James Decker shares her favorite Thanksgiving dish!
Today is the day, and people all over the country are getting ready to prepare the traditional holiday feast. The country pop singer, 33, shared her all-time favorite side dish with her social media fans.
An Oldie, But A Goodie
Jessie took to Instagram and uploaded a picture of the delicious meal, along with a message explaining why it’s her go-to dish.
“This is my favorite Turkey Day side 😋 @justfeedme what’s yours ? 👇” the musician wrote in the caption.
She continued, “It’s Thanksgiving tomorrow! This is one of my favorite meals of all time. I went through a handful of years where I would ask for a full Thanksgiving meal on every birthday. And my sweet mama would do it!”
Jessie then urged fans to “Head over to @justfeedme for some last minute side ideas to complete your feast tomorrow!!” and asked, “What are some traditions y’all have???”

Some of her avid fans have actually tried her recipe and told the “Should Have Known Better” hitmaker how it went.

“I eat it as a side dish because it’s served hot but like last if that makes sense because it is sweeter. We always bring it to any holidays gathering we’re invited too and it’s always a hit,” quipped a third follower. Meanwhile, another noted that the dish is “like dessert and a side all in one.”

Fans can follow Jessie’s sweet potato casserole recipe through her “Just Feed Me” cookbook, which can be purchased on Amazon. Yesterday, the mother of three gave her followers a turkey tip through her food blog’s Instagram page.
“It doesn’t matter if it’s turkey or chicken…the secret to a perfectly roasted bird is season it, butter it up, stuff it with aromatic herbs and veggies, and don’t over cook it🍗” Jessie captioned the post, along with a picture of a delicious roasted chicken. “I always do my Turkey just like my roasted chicken with butter under the skin to give it that crispy bronzed outside and juicy flavorful meat underneath.”
She also added a guide on “cooking times and temperature tips” in the next slide.
In an interview, Jessie shared how she maintains her killer physique despite loving food.
“I think it’s balance. Everything is about balance, portion control,” she told HollywoodLife in September 2020. “I think the key is to not go overboard.”
The “Lights Down Low” songstress also believes that no one should “ever limit themselves on the goods if they want to eat.” However, she notes, “we can limit the amount that we do eat.”
