Former "The Real Housewives of Orange County" cast member Vicki Gunvalson opened up about her ongoing feud with "The Real Houswives of New York City" star Ramona Singer during an episode of her podcast, "Whoop It Up with Vicki", days ago.

After a feud erupted between the two women after Singer suggested it was her "Real Housewives" franchise in the Big Apple that put the series on the map, Gunvalson, who actually put the franchise on the map years prior, weighed in on the odd comments Singer made.

“[Ramona] said New York put them on the map. For me to hear Ramona think that New York put them on the map… She referenced Page Six and all the New York tabloids and magazines," Gunvalson said, suggesting that Singer's views on the popularity of the shows were skewed.

While Singer may have had success with her franchise in New York, that didn't mean that the show started there. It didn't. It started in Orange County with Gunvalson two years prior.

Not only was Singer's series started years after Gunvalson's, it was also not intended to be a part of the "Real Housewives" franchise.

"They were going to be ‘Manhattan Mamas’ and then they changed it to [‘The Real Housewives of New York’]," Gunvalson explained.

Gunvalson then noted that Singer's incorrect statement was due to the fact that she was seeing only headlines in New York City, not nationwide.

"She probably wasn’t seeing [season] one and two of us in the headlines,” Gunvalson offered.

Although Gunvalson attempted to explain herself to Singer at BravoCon last November, she and Singer never settled their feud and Singer never offered an apology to Gunvalson for her claims about the franchise.

“No she did not [apologize]. We have texted through some chains we are on but no. She really feels like she [put them on the map]. So I’ll let her believe it but the truth is the truth. If we weren’t on there first, they wouldn’t be on,” she stated.

While Gunvalson is no longer a part of the franchise, she's still friendly with the Bravo world.

“Behind the scenes, we are still in communication. We are still friends. It’s a crossover. It’s like a fraternity or sorority. We are always going to be able to have a friend out there in another city. It’s fun,” she shared.

"The Real Housewives of Orange County" season 15 is expected to air on Bravo later this year.

"The Real Houswives of New York City" season 12 is currently airing on Thursdays at 9 p.m.
