Vicki Gunvalson opened up about her January exit from "The Real Housewives of Orange County" cast during an episode of her podcast, "Whoop It Up with Vicki", earlier this week.

During the new episode, Gunvalson admitted that when it comes to leaving the Bravo reality series after appearing on the last 14 seasons, she's having a hard time getting used to not being a reality star any longer.

Also during the episode, Gunvalson wondered how Kelly Dodd has remained on the show for so long.

While it's been months since Gunvalson announced to her fans and followers on Instagram that she would not be featured on any further seasons of "The Real Houswives of Orange County" months ago, she's still not over it.

“My feeling have been all over the map and poor Steve, he has to put up with them," she admitted. "Some days I’m like, ‘Okay, Good. This is the first year in 15 years I don’t have to cry everyday.’ And then I thought, ‘I’m not ready to cry anymore.’"

"It was part of the blood in my veins. It was a natural high, filming and being a part of the cast and doing all the press afterwards. It was part of my DNA," Gunvalson continued. "I loved doing it. So then I got bitter and then I went back to being fortunate that I had the opportunity and now I’m kind of in the middle of the road."

"I’m not sad and I’m not happy,” Gunvalson, who owns an insurance company added.

Gunvalson may not understand Bravo's decision, but she's doing her best to respect their choices for "The Real Housewives of Orange County."

“They made their decision and I have to respect that. I had a good ride," she noted. "I didn’t want it to end unless it all ended. But our reality never stops. Your life is always changing. What I came to find out is the viewers are ready for some new blood and that’s what I had to swallow, that big pill.”

Speaking of her longtime nemesis, Gunvalson admitted to being confused about why Bravo chooses to bring Dodd back year after year, no matter what comes out of her mouth.

"Kelly will say whatever she wants to say no matter what and has no recourse. Bravo brings her back every year. It’s shocking to be sometimes,” Gunvalson admitted.

"The Real Housewives of Orange County" season 15 will air on Bravo sometime later this year, although a premiere date for the new episodes has not yet been announced.
