November 24 officially marks one week, since Young Dolph was tragically shot and killed, in his hometown of Memphis. That occurred at Makeda’s Homemade Cookies, a popular business on the south side of the city.
Dolph’s Family Releases First Statement Since Shooting
The music industry, friends of Dolph, his own artists, and his family have definitely been grieving, over the past week. Now, his family has just released their first full statement, about Dolph’s death, per Complex.
They praised how great of a person that Dolph was, and are very grateful, for the amount of support that they’ve been showered with, over the past week.
“There are no words that exist, that sufficiently express the pain we are feeling as a family. Losing Adolph, Dolph, Man-Man, changes our lives forever. And while we will take each day as it comes, we are comforted in knowing that he leaves a legacy that reflects his heart. A heart that was for his family. A heart that was for the people.
“We are grateful for the outpouring of love. We are grateful that his godly obligation to show kindness to the world is being acknowledged.
“As a family, we were blessed to call him our son, our nephew, our brother, our cousin, our partner and our Father. And now, we have the honor of calling him our angel. A role he has always played.”
Dolph’s Artist Also Delivered Passionate Tribute.
On Monday, Key Glock, who was Dolph’s artist, at his Paper Route Empire record label, finally fully addressed Dolph’s death. Glock initially said in his Instagram stories, how people needed to stop asking if he was okay, knowing that he wasn’t.
In Glock’s Instagram post on his main feed, he shared various throwback photos of he and Dolph together, and reminisced on how much Dolph means to him.
“Damn bro, im LOST😞 my heart is torn my brain bout to explode it HURTS when I breathe..why you leave me so soon?? I’ll never be the same, you was my lefthand man,my brother,my cousin,my mentor and drank partner🥲 for the past 2 years I been taking LOSS AFTER LOSS and still can’t understand why💔First, it was my pops then my auntie then my grandma and now YOU!! I know we can’t question GOD but GOD why?! There’s nothing no one can do or say to bring you back and that s*it just eats me up by the second!!”

Dolph’s Killers’ Getaway Car Was Reportedly Found
On November 20, police reportedly found the white Mercedes-Benz that was driven, by the two men who shot and killed Dolph. This was located in the Orange Mound neighborhood of South Memphis, on the 1100 block of Bradley Street, according to TMZ.
The vehicle was reportedly found in the driveway of a home, that is three miles from the Makeda’s Cookies location, where Dolph lost his life. It was also unclear if the owner of the home where the car was found, was questioned by Memphis police.
