Vicki Gunvalson appeared on an episode of her podcast series, "Whoop It Up with Vicki" earlier this week, where she was questioned about why she told a fan on Instagram last month to boycott the upcoming episodes of "The Real Housewives of Orange County."

While chatting with Lanae Brody of Hollywood Life, Gunvalson admitted to making the comment but suggested that despite using the word "boycott," she doesn't really want fans to refuse to watch the show just because she's no longer on.

“I love Bravo but they don’t love me. So when somebody said something [about] the show going down without [me] on there, I’m like, ‘Just boycott it,’" Gunvalson recalled of her statement, which was shared in the comments section of an Instagram post weeks ago.

"It came out. It was one sentence in the fact that if the ratings are down, they’re going to realize they made a mistake," she further explained of the apparent advise she gave to the fan.

According to Gunvalson, she may be upset about her untimely exit from "The Real Housewives of Orange County," but she doesn't want to see the Bravo reality series fail.

"I don’t really mean for it to be boycotted. I meant for what the truth is. I don’t believe the show is going to be strong without us," she explained.

Gunvalson announced she was leaving the cast of "The Real Houswives of Orange County" after 14 seasons in January. One day later, Tamra Judge did the same.

Gunvalson went on to suggest that the relationships that exist between the current cast of the show are not authentic.

"Are Kelly and Shannon really good friends? I don’t know. It’s per season," she shared.

“It’s going to be hard for me to watch it," she continued. "I have a sense of ownership on it. It’s crazy that I do but I do. I just feel like, ‘What happened?’ Are they going to think like, ‘Oh, she’s just, poof, gone?’ It’s going to be so weird, even for me.”

Looking back at her time at the BravoCon fan convention, which took place in New York City last November, Gunvalson said she was thrilled to see so many fans in the same place and the same time.

“I was overwhelmed with the amount of people and loyal fans of Bravo. I mean, to see them all in one place and having so much fun.”

"The Real Housewives of Orange County" season 15 will likely air on Bravo sometime later this year.
