Kim Zolciak-Biermann Recalls Birth Moment Of Twins Kaia & Kane: 'I Was Scared To Death'

Kim Zolciak-Biermann remembers the day she gave birth to her youngest children.

The "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star, 43, took to Instagram and shared a loving tribute to her kids, Kaia and Kane, who just turned 8 today. She shared videos and photos from when they were born in 2013.

The first clip showed a very pregnant Kim sporting a black plunging dress and matching boots. She was in the hospital with her husband, Kroy Biermann, 36, who filmed the video. The couple was showing the baby beds pre-birth. A photo of the twins as toddlers in their winter clothes was seen in the next slide. A swipe to the right showed a slideshow of the duo from when they were newborns.

Fans caught a glimpse of Kroy kissing Kaia in the fourth pic, followed by Kim's mirror selfie showing off her big belly, then a pic of the newborns. A recent video of Kaia and Kane was also added to the share, with the last one showing them blowing their candles.

"Today 8 years ago at this time I was scared to death!! 2 babies in my belly and we were about to get this show started! Literally and figuratively ? " Kim wrote in the caption.

She continued, "When I walked into my room and saw BABY A and BABY B beds it really freaked me out! I was 35 weeks and 5 days and my blood pressure was getting up there! So we induced!! Just a few hours later at 5:30pm @kaiabiermann was born head first and screamed the entire time I pushed a breech @kanebiermann out at 6:01pm Kaia weighed in at 6lbs even and Kane 6lbs 14ounces ❤️"

The TV personality also joked about having 4 kids in 30 months," adding, "These last 8 years have been truly a blessing and I never take a single day for granted! It’s been so incredible to watch the connection my twins have ? it’s truly mind blowing! They look like a mini Kim n Kroy literally ?"

Kim concluded her message by writing, "Happy Birthday K & K and also Grandma Rose (I miss you so much it hurts) We love you guys so much ..far beyond what words could ever describe!! Today is your day and we can’t wait to celebrate ?"

Kim's daughter, Ariana Biermann, 20, commented, "i can’t believe they’re already 8," and added, "happy birthday my loves ?"

"Omg that’s love? the way he is cheering you on and the compliments that of course you deserve because you look amazing! You’re a caring two beautiful angels inside of you ❤️" wrote another follower.

"Happy Birthday, Kane and Kaia!! I can't believe that it's been 8 years already - I feel like y'all were just born ? enjoy being 8, it's so much fun! Have a wonderful day celebrating and I hope God continues to bless y'all! ??? " noted a third commenter.

"You were scared sh-tless then… but this is one thing I admire about you, you LOVE your babies and are fiercely protected and proud of them… Happy Birthday Littles," quipped the fourth one.

Kim and Kroy have two other boys together, Kroy Jagger Biermann, Jr., 10, and Kash Kade Biermann, 9. Her older daughters -- Ariana and Brielle Biermann, 24, were from her previous relationships and were adopted by her husband.
