Tom Sandoval and his girlfriend Ariana Madix appeared on Tuesday night’s new episode of “Watch What Happens Live” with host Andy Cohen and during the episode, the “Vanderpump Rules” couple was confronted about Dayna Schroeder‘s past claim regarding the way Tom supposedly treated her at Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright‘s June 2019 wedding in Kentucky.
Weeks after Dayna suggested Tom had taken out his dislike for her daughter, Stassi Schroeder, on her, Tom and Ariana both suggested her claims were untrue.
After Dayna claimed on her Instagram page that Tom “refused” to give her an umbrella during Jax and Brittany’s outdoor ceremony and said his behavior was “not nice,” Tom explained that everyone at the event was supposed to be given either an umbrella or a fan.
“I grabbed every umbrella, I brought umbrellas myself, I grabbed every umbrella I could find at that castle. And I had brought fans and stuff. I was trying to hand them out to people,” he explained.
“Like I’m not gonna hand an umbrella and a fan out to the same person,” he continued, suggesting that he didn’t give Dayna an umbrella because she already had her own fan.
“I was trying to space it out,” he added.
Although Tom went head to head with Stassi on a number of occasions during the currently airing “Vanderpump Rules,” and even lashed out at her before her book signing at TomTom, via text, he didn’t intend to offend her mom.
According to Ariana, Dayna’s claims against her boyfriend were simply not true and she doesn’t believe that any one else at Jax and Brittany’s wedding would recall things in such a way.
“I don’t think anybody else remembered that,” Ariana said.
As for Tom’s mean text messages to Ariana, he admitted to host Andy that he “for sure” regrets sending her heated messages before her big day and explained that they were prompted by the stress he felt over the “uncertainties” of the event.
He then addressed claims of a tantrum.
“I don’t see that I had so much as a temper tantrum; I just freaked the hell out the night before,” he explained on the late-night show. “I hadn’t heard from her. I took that personally. It wasn’t her fault. There were a lot of other things going on.”
