Ariel Winter kept it skimpy for her latest street appearance – and she got mega trashed for the outing. The "Modern Family" actress whose COVID-19 activities have included her grabbing $227 worth of takeout in April was photographed this week as she organized a drive-by party for boyfriend Luke Benward's 25th birthday. Ariel, 22, has been making headlines for hitting up grocery stores amid the global pandemic – sometimes forgetting her pants – although the sitcom star's latest look was a million miles from slouchy sweats and baggy shirt dresses.

Keep scrolling. Photos obtained by The Daily Mail showed Ariel on L.A. streets and with a small crowd – keep reading for what viewers had to say about the apparent "non social-distancing." The girl behind Alex Dunphy had gone super-classy, seen flaunting the 30 pounds she's dropped in a floaty, floral-print sundress with a mid-calf length and a low-cut neckline. Square-toed and heeled sandals completed the simple feminine look as Ariel went 100% makeup-free, with the star also showing off her return to strawberry-blonde locks.

"Friends all over the place not social distancing. Why bother with the drive-by when he goes up to every car to give the driver a hug? The best part was when he took an open bottle from one of his car buds. You can't fix stupid."

"No masks, no social distancing. People like these fools are why LA is going to be staying home until August," another said.

The majority of comments left to the newspaper came from its British audience, with some users appearing confused by the headline's "drive-by" party.

"HA I thought a drive by was when you shot somebody from your car! Unusual birthday treat," one user wrote.

As to the social distancing remarks, others pointed out that the ABC star is in quarantine with her boyfriend – unclear is whether or not the other individuals present are isolating with the beauty. Ariel herself has made major quarantine headlines of late – for chopping off her thumb.

"I was trying to make Greek food because I'm Greek," Ariel recently explained as she detailed a home cooking attempt that went very wrong. Detailing the "new knives" she had gotten, Ariel continued:

"So I went to chop a peeled tomato and sliced the top part of my thumb off on a peeled tomato. I was so shocked. It was more like I was hyperventilating. I was like I should be crying but I just can't believe it."

When the ER nurse handed Ariel her thumb tip in a bag, Ariel said: "She actually just gave it to me in a plastic bag and didn't like tell me that it was the tip of my thumb too, so I accidentally threw it away and we had to go get it."
