Lil Wayne's daughter, Reginae Carter, and popular Atlanta rapper, YFN Lucci, split at the end of 2019. One huge factor in this was Lucci attending a "cucumber pool party" at an Atlanta mansion in the summer which was hosted by Atlanta rapper, Trouble, and his girlfriend and 'Love and Hip-Hop' star, Alexis Skyy at the time.

The two had a very rocky relationship and in a recent interview with Page Six, Carter was very critical of him.

“I’m not bringing no dudes on the show. I’m not making nobody famous. I’m not putting nobody on no more.”

Carter also blamed the dating scene in Atlanta. She viewed Los Angeles as a much better alternative for her life.

"It’s hard dating in Atlanta — everybody knows everybody … I definitely feel like I need to leave and go to LA; that’s like, probably the only place that I can go. It is hard to decipher who’s real and who’s fake. All I can say to myself and other people is keep checking your bank account.”

Now, Wendy Williams has her own take on what would be best for Carter relationship wise. She spoke on her show from home today and feels that it's best for her to stay away from rappers, athletes, and "weirdos. Williams knows her fairly well as Carter has been on her show before.

“Reginae, how about we keep our love lives really, really private." She went on to explain how she shouldn't date “rappers, ball players, or weirdos. "You’re too good for that!”

“I’m getting a chance to really get to know myself and love myself before I allow myself to love somebody else,” said Carter to her mother, Toya Wright, on an episode of 'T.I. and Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle' on April 17. “It’s bringing my father [Lil Wayne] and I closer together because I’ve opened up to him. He’s giving me advice.”

“To hear my daddy tell me that Lucci, ‘he loves you probably, but he’s not in love with you because of the actions and the things that he’s doing.’ — He’s been through it all, so."

Carter's claim that she helped make Lucci famous is a bit flawed though. He signed with Think It's A Game Records in 2014 and had his first hit single in "I Wonder Why" featuring Skooly which appeared on his debut mixtape, 'Wish Me Well.' He also has other hot records such as the platinum "Everyday We Lit" feat. PnB Rock, "Heartless" feat. Rick Ross, "Boss Life" feat. Offset, and more. He recently released his new "HIStory" mixtape and "Corona Pack" EP.
