Adele has officially broken the internet. It was reported by a fan that the 32-year-old singer has recently dropped around 100 pounds over the last few months. Although it hasn’t been revealed exactly when this tremendous weight loss started, close friends and family have reported that her new exercise and workout routine has put her, “… in a very good place both physically and mentally.”
The singer stunned viewers after posting a picture of herself looking unrecognizable on Instagram. Adele took the opportunity to thank first responders for their efforts to combat the Coronavirus.
The “Hello” music artist can be seen wearing a slimming black dress with a giant gold ring behind her. The ring itself is ornate with flowers tied to it, while Adele has a big smile on her face with her golden hair down.
The picture was also a birthday celebration announcement as she just turned 32.
She captioned the post, “Thank you for the birthday love. I hope you’re all staying safe and sane during this crazy time.
I’d like to thank all of our first responders and essential workers who are keeping us safe while risking their lives! You are truly our angels ♥️
2020 okay bye thanks x“
The moment Adele started posting pictures of herself with such amazing weight loss, her fans started to worry.
An insider addressed fans’ concerns saying, “She looks like a different person, but she’s the same cool chick who will tell you to fk off if you try and second-guess her. She is happy and fulfilled.“
And as one fan reported after speaking with Adele in a restaurant, “She said she lost something like 100 pounds, and that it’s such a crazy positive experience. She seemed so happy, and she looked amazing. She seemed really confident.“
Adele’s former trainer Pete Geracimo told the press about how she’s managed to lose so much weight and get healthier. Pete said, “She quit smoking, reduced her drinking, got rid of sugar and stopped eating processed foods. She made healthier food choices and is training regularly.“
Humorously, Pete was also quoted saying, “I got called every name under the sun by her. But to her credit, she always came ready and worked out hard.“
Go, Adele!
After seeing the negativity and body shaming left by viewers online Pete defended Adele with a lengthy Instagram post.
Pete posted this statement on his Instagram account:
““It’s disheartening to read negative commentary and fat-phobic accusations questioning the genuineness of her amazing weight loss. In my personal experience of working with her through many highs and lows, she always marched to the beat of her own drum on her own terms. She never undermined her God-given talent by reducing herself to expose her flesh or be the over the top sexy vixen to sell albums. She let her voice do the talking, or should I say singing! She never once pretended to be something that she wasn’t. What you saw was what you got. And we all LOVED it!“
