To lift up spirits the world over, John Krasinski took a leaf out of his “SNL” days, and did his own little show on Youtube, called “SGN”, aka “Some Good News”. In it, he not only invited celebrities over but also reached out to people all over the globe, celebrating funny little incidents as well as heartwarming ones. After eight episodes, SGN is wrapping up, and Instagram fans so don’t want it to end as they wrote in their thoughts to Krasinski.
Krasinski just announced that all eight episodes of SGN were done, and his post read, “Wow! Can’t believe we’re coming to episode 8 of 8! No words for how much these episodes have meant to me! BUT just because the show is taking a break doesn’t mean #SGN ever does! This week we look back at all that we’ve created…TOGETHER!” One fan commented, “Wait we’ve been in quarantine for 8 weeks?!” while another wrote, “No god please no” with some horrified emoji faces. Its clear, SGN will be missed badly, by many.
The seventh episode of SGN showed Krasinski “zooming” in on a couple whose proposal video reminded him of something very, very similar. And so he got them virtually married on Zoom, with all many of his “The Office” co-workers, aka cast, in tow. Kransinski wrote, “Well… literally no words for this episode of @somegoodnews ! Once in a lifetime kind of stuff thanks to all my incredible guests.” To this, Jenna Fischer replied, “This was a blast. Loved it! (No, I’m not crying! You’re crying! Oh heck, we’re all crying!!) ❤️” Fans loved when Emily Blunt took over, watch…
The sixth episode was all about “graduation” and Krasinski wrote about it on Instagram as, “Alright, that’s it, enough is enough. All you graduates of 2020? After all those long hours you’ve put in. All the hard work you’ve put in…. we’re throwin some caps!!! This week! I’m there with tassels on!” And Samuel L. Jackson was there as a special guest, shouting out zany stuff. There was a heartfelt comment from a fan who said, “Even during the school year using Zoom brought joy to my students. Thank you for reminding everyone that there’s still happiness to look for in the world right now.”. Watch Samuel L. Jackson do his thing below…
SGN has touched people’s hearts, and the fact that it is getting over is killing Instagram fans. Krasinski announcement had fans begging him for more, with one commented dismally writing, “So sad it’s ending , wish this could last forever ?”. Another one read, “thank you for giving us something to look forward too!” Fans are thanking Krasinski for the brightness he brought into their lives, and the comments are enough to make everyone cry, “SGN has been such a bright spot for me. It’s just been so good. So so good. Thank you!!”
