Draya Michele‘s Instagram traffic just shot up. The 35-year-old reality star and Mint Swim founder spent the last few days cramming her account with red-hot bikini photos promoting her 2011-founded brand – started with the $12,000 Draya saved up, the company grew to be valued at $1 million in 2017, with 2019 seeing billionaire Kylie Jenner cherry-pick it. Draya maintains her brand ambassador status as she polishes her art of milking social media – an art definitely nailed with her recent set of images.
Draya kicked off Mint Swim’s latest drop announcement with a blazing hot collage of herself both clothed and unclothed – keep scrolling for her best photos. The ex to Orlando Scandrick had stripped down to a blue string and thong bikini fast approaching dental floss level – a cheeky mesh skirt wrapped around the swimwear didn’t cover much. Quickly following were shots of the L.A.-based star in an underboob-flaunting string bikini in white – once again, the workout queen was showing off her mind-blowing curves. Draya does, however, “like ’em 6 feet away” during COVID-19.
Mega likes this weekend for the star brave enough to tell her own customers to steer clear of a certain Mint Swim bikini because it’s “roomy” – and she showed it. Draya’s posts collected upwards of 178,000 likes, also raking in the celebrity faces. Likes came in from 22-year-old Kylie Jenner, 38-year-old singer Christina Milian, and Lil Wayne’s smoking hot daughter Reginae Carter, plus NFL wife Nicole Williams.
“I mean, with a body like this, minimalism is a no brainer,” one fan wrote.
“So good! another said.
A caption from Draya confirmed zero professional photography:
“FUN FACT: due to covid19 ? I took these photos for the new collection myself, with a tripod and an iPhone on portrait mode featuring a beige wall and a house plant. I also didn’t edit or filter them….. because minimalism works for my brand. @mintswimusa PS: we got slides.”
Draya’s Instagram has also been featuring her honoring her ambassador role for Rihanna’s Fenty x Savage Lingerie, plus her status as a Fashion Nova partner.
Draya’s brand already included customers as high-profile as singer Selena Gomez back in 2017 – the year marking the $1 million valuation of Mint Swim has evolved, with 2020 seeing the label a “multi-million” dollar one.
“I started with four styles of swimsuits and from there, things just grew via social media,” Draya told Refinery29.
“On Instagram, I had 2 million followers total. I’ve been off of TV for three-and-a-half years now, and I am at 6 million,” she added. That following has since climbed to 8 million.
