Asghari Hopes Upcoming Documentaries About Spears Will Respect Her
The pop singer’s fans are aware of Asghari’s constant support of his fiancée. Since the pair started their relationship five years ago, the actor showed immense support for his partner in her legal feud with her father about her conservatorship.
Recently Asghari voiced his views about the string of documentaries that came out following the heated battle. He disliked the previous ones and hoped any future documentaries, will respect his partner.
“Apparently, my opinion has increased in value over the last few days,” Asghari penned on his Instagram story some days ago. “Past docs left bad after taste. I’m hopeful this one will be respective [sic]. I don’t blame CNN, BBC or NETFLIX ([which] got me thru lockdowns for airing them because as an actor, I tell other people’s stories too.”
Asghari Credits Fans
Right from the inception of her music career, Spears garnered die-hard fans who loved and adored her. Then, she went through her mental issue episode that led to her conservatorship.
During this trying period, her fans remained a voice of stability during her recovery process. Also, they started the #freeBritney movement to help recover control of her assets from her father.
Following Spears’ legal victory, Asghari chided producers’ portrayal of her issue but credited her fans for shedding light about it. “I question producers who made them ‘just to shed light’ without input or approval from the subject,” as per US Weekly. “Any credit for the light shed should go to #freebritney.”
He further acknowledged fans’ love while on the red carpet at the “House of Gucci” premiere. “It’s amazing for me to feel the love for her and for her to see how many people love her because of the love that she gave other people,” he told Variety.
