Adele ended her marriage with her ex-husband, Simon Konecki, on good terms, which is why fans won’t be hearing him getting dragged through the dirt on her upcoming fourth studio album.
The “Rolling In The Deep” superstar revealed earlier this year that the highly anticipated project will be released in September, and while Adele is no stranger to sharing her heartfelt pain from failed relationships in her songs, don’t expect to hear anything bad about Konecki.
Insiders say she won’t be addressing their split in her new music.
According to sources, the 32-year-old is choosing not to humiliate her ex for multiple reasons, including the fact that they share a seven-year-old son, Angelo, together.
‘She does not want Angelo learning about any of their issues through her songs, especially as he is getting older and kids are more aware of what she does for a living,’ an insider explained.
From what’s been reported, Adele and her ex-husband weren’t able to work out their differences with one another so they decided to split.
But they are still in close contact for the sake of their son – and things are working out fine.
In the lead-up to her divorce from Konecki, the “Someone Like You” songstress has been dedicating plenty of time to a strict fitness and dieting regime, which, as seen in recent photos posted on her Instagram, has seen Adele flaunt a noticeable leaner figure.
Aside from wanting to live a healthier lifestyle, Adele is also believed to have shed the weight for her child, which prompted her to hire fitness guru Harley Pasternak.
He’s famously known for also training the likes of Lady Gaga, Rihanna, and Katy Perry.
‘It’s easy to just focus on her physical transformation, but this is really about something bigger,’ a source continued. ‘She got to the point where she didn’t feel great. She knew she had to change something, because she wants to be the healthiest mom possible.
‘Her whole focus during the weight loss journey has really how been all about how she can be healthier and how can she treat her body better. It was never about losing weight.’
The Grammy winner, who resides in Los Angeles, credits her new figure to plenty of cardio workouts, including mountain hikes with her pals, along with a strict diet that saw her cutting out junk food and alcohol.
She’s also believed to have hired a personal chef thanks to the recommendation by her Hollywood friend Cameron Diaz ‘because she’s not a fan of cooking.’
‘Her weight loss happened because she has cut down drinking and is eating more real food. But she now loves her physical transformation too. She is more confident, dresses differently and she just seems happier overall.’
