A few weeks ago, Demi Moore posted a photo on Instagram of her and her daughters in quarantine with ex-husband Bruce Willis.
Absent from the photo was Bruce’s wife Emma Heming and their daughters Mabel and Evelyn.
While Bruce was quarantined with Demi, Emma was in Los Angeles with the kids.
Emma’s absence led to speculation that there was trouble in her marriage to Bruce, and their may be tension between her and Demi.
So what’s the truth behind the rumors about the Willis family?
Bruce and Demi were once Hollywood’s power couple. He was an action star and she was one of the highest-paid actresses in Tinseltown.
The couple married in 1987 and had three daughters: Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah.
After 10 years of marriage, they separated in 1998 and their divorce was finalized in 2000.
Following their split, Bruce and Demi remained good friends. The exes would often walk the red carpet with their daughters and invite each other to parties.
When Demi married Ashton Kutcher 2005, Bruce was supportive of their relationship and even attended their wedding.
In 2009, Bruce decided to give marriage another shot when he married Emma.
Bruce and Demi’s blended family continued to grow when he married Emma.
Bruce’s daughters welcomed their new stepmother with open arms, and Demi was supportive of the couple.
In April 2012, Bruce and Emma welcomed a daughter named Mabel. Two years later in May 2014, they had a second daughter named Evelyn.
Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah loved their little sisters and often posted photos of them on social media.
Demi was often included in functions thrown by Bruce and Emma. In fact, she was at their vow renewal back in March 2019.
Emma and Bruce’s marriage continued to remain strong, but in March, rumors started circulating about the two.
Just days after their 11th wedding anniversary, news surfaced that Bruce was in Idaho, quarantined with Demi and their daughters.
However, Emma was staying in California with Mabel and Evelyn.
Tabloids were quick to jump on the assumption that Emma and Bruce’s marriage was on the rocks, and he was possibly getting back together with Demi Moore.
However, any reports about trouble in paradise was soon put to rest.
As everyone continued to speculate on the situation involving the trio, Bruce and Demi’s daughter Scout spoke up about what was going on.
Scout explained that both Bruce and Emma were going to come up for a visit to Idaho. But before the trip, Evelyn stepped on a needle while in the park.
Emma had to stay behind with the girls as they awaited test results. Meanwhile, Bruce was stuck in Idaho and with the coronavirus pandemic making travel impossible, he stayed with Demi.
Earlier this week, Emma and the girls were able to get up to Idaho to reunite with Bruce.
For Evelyn’s birthday, her big sisters along with Demi joined Bruce and Emma for a celebration.
